She gets clearly offended at his comment.
"I'm not that bad of a liar!"
She crosses her arms and blushes in embarrassment from remembering the lies she told earlier.

"Girl you said you were brought here on a magical unicorn summoned by an old wizard!" Alex stated with a chuckle. "C'mon. Let's get moving. This dust isn't very good for my skin."
-
She sighs and nods. "Alright, Alex. Lead the way because I'm not quite sure what to do or where to go."
-
"Ya all I have is a General location. So let's see if-" "HELLO!" Cried an old feminine voice. An old brown skinned woman walked from her hut and approached the two. "Our saviours! You have arrived!" Said the woman as she grabbed Alex's hand and kissed it. "Errrrrr what?" Alex said with confusion. The old lady walked over to Lyn and took her hand as well.
-
Lyn giggles and just lets it happen. "Savior? I thought it would take a bit more work than this to be called that."
-
"No. No. We saw you coming many days ago." Said the old woman. "Come, come!" She said as she began to hobble away, waving for the two to follow. "Well okay then..." Alex said as he began to follow her.
-
Lyn followed behind Alex with a hand resting on the hilt of one of her swords just in case. "Where are we going, Miss?"
-
"You know, you know!" She said. Alex looked back at Lyn in confusion as the lady walked the two to the end of the village, where they saw a massive cave that went into the mountain. "In there! In there!" She said. "Lady, what are you talking about?!" Alex asked with a hint of impatience.
-
Lyn places a hand on Alex's shoulder to try and calm him down before glancing over at the woman. "Please, tell us what you mean. You're being extremely vague."
-
"You don't know?" The old lady asked. "God sent you to us. To help us! To open the mine! Demons now in mine. They control it. Mine have no more. But we can not explore mine with demons in mine."
-
Lyn nervously laughs and scratches the back of her neck. "Well, she's not completely wrong with what she just said. At least one of us is sent by a god."
-
Alex looked to Lyn with a raised eyebrow. "...We're talking about this later." He said before turning his head to the elder. "So what do you want us to do lady?" He asked. "Purge demons. Save us!" She clarified.
-
Lyn shrugs and starts to walk into the mineshaft. "We'll probably never talk about it. Now, lets go kill some demons. That's my speciality."
-
"...RIIIIIIGHT. Got it." Alex said as he responded to Lyn. He nodded to the elder before following the girl towards the mineshaft. It was dark inside, and they couldn't see further in from where they stood.
-
She stops and looks around for something to give her light. "Did you happen to bring something to light the place up?"
-
"Not really...you wouldn't happen to know any magic would you?" He asked
-
Lyn sighs and shakes her head. "I've got a little magic, but I suck with it and can't make a light."
-
"Can you make fire?"
-
"Nope. I'm limited, Alex. I'm sorry, but we need to find another way."
-
"....I have an idea. Grab your blades." He said as he drew his Infinity blade. It was almost as big as himself, and it was two feet wide. It had two blades which crossed over each other to form an infinity shape, both shades of silver.
-
Lyn pulls out a long katana with intricate, golden designs from her left scabbard. "What for?"
-
Alex tossed her a small knife. "Make sparks onto my blade. Won't explain just do it!"
-
"Sparks? How about this?" Lyn swings her sword at Alex's chest and at about half way her blade is surrounded by electricity.
-
"Oh Jesus Christ!" He yelled as he raised his blade to block the katana. Suddenly his sword became imbued with electric energy that glowed a bright yellow as it sparked. "Oh! That worked! How the hell did you know I was gunna block that?" He asked.
-
"I didn't. Come on, lets go. I'll apologize later." She starts walking into the dark shaft.
-
"Wait what?!" He asked rhetorically as he followed her. The mines were narrow and dark, and the electricity from the blade have the two a small circle of yellow light around them. Drops of liquid could be heard dripping from the ceiling as the two continued into the dark.... "Please don't be a jump scare, please don't be a jump scare...."
