Act 1, Recruitment
A woman, old as time, examines an alleyway in front of her. Seemingly satisfies, she flourishes her hand from beneath her frayed and dirtied robe, revealing, or perhaps creating, a set of stairs. She turns and sits cross-legged in front of them, watching with empty brown eyes. In this light, her skin seems blued, punctuating the wrinkles in her skin with an unnatural black.
She holds with her a black bowler hat filled with bits of paper.

And so, Iskandar, the King of Conquerors approached the woman, with a broad smile on his face "Is this a conquest?"
-
The elder looks upon Iskandar. "Of sorts, I suppose."
-
"Then I wish to be a part of it! Is that alright?"
-
"Are you fine with dying?" The woman holds out the hat full of paper scraps.
-
"Ha! I will not die. I am to great to die!"
-
"Once you can spell correctly, I'm sure that may once be true." The crone chuckles with a knowing smile, and holds out a scrap.
But in this quest you will probably die, unless you're OP

;-; Time to bring in Royal than hehe.
"My spelling is spot on!" He grabbed a scrap of paper "What are these?"
-
"Your role in the play will be selected once you walk through that door. Oh, and no trading roles."
-
"This is a play? What a Foolish waste of time!"
-
The old lady sighs. "It's referring to- nevermind, it's an adventure!"
-
"Excellent! I will see you when I return." He started up the stairs
-
The woman wonders how you ascend stairs leading downward.
-
Iskandar stopped at the top of the stairs. Which were actually the bottom? He was to great to care
-
Too! With two 'o's! Also did he go into the room or not?
-
Yeah he did. Also, idc. He's to great to care ;)

*pain intensifies*
You enter the dimly lit room to find a bench against the stone wall to your left. Across from it is another door made of oak.
-
Iskandar walked to the bench, and took a seat on it
-
The bench is sufficiently supple, and sinks ever so slightly when sat upon.
-
Iskandar laughed at comfort and stood, patting the bench as he so. He walked towards the door and knocked
-
When knocked upon, the door felt like it had more in common with a concrete wall than any door.
-
Iskandar walked to the bench and patted it "Farewell friend!" He walked to the door and went through
-
The door opens, revealing a room with 3 trapdoors within the ground, each with a small engraving upon them. The wood glows ever so slightly with a turquoise light.
-
"Hmm." Iskandar walked back over to the bench. "It seems I will need you after all." He attempted to lift the bench
-
The bench is easily lifted, and feels insulted by your lifting it.
