[i]She looks him in the eyes with a look that showed she really cares.[/i] "Please, let me help, Son of Adam."

"I would. But I do not know how you could, there's seemingly so little that could be changed or stopped. And, in the midst of it all, conflict. Impending battle, one that cannot be stopped."

"At least tell me the problem? Please?" [i]She hugs him a little tighter and gives a soft squeeze.[/i]

"Perhaps.. Very well. I'm sure you'll need to ask questions." [i]Rafael sighs, and begins his explanation.[/i] "I control both powers of the dark and the light, yet a fragment of that dark has found its way into another person. They wish to kill me. My wife is dead because of that. And, on top of that, a multi dimensional monster wishes to return and have my head for me killing him years ago."

[i]Cordelia shakes her head slowly.[/i] "That sounds really bad, Son of Adam. I may be of some assistance if you let me. As an angel I have a lot of power over the light and might be able to take the darkness out of whoever killed your wife."

"Indeed, that may be so. The reason they are like this is because of that power. It is as if there is another mind in his head. I am one who can control it. I will need it too, if Malren is to return. And while it is very admirable that you offer your power to destroy him, I must do it myself. I don't want anybody else to be in harms way." [i]Rafael looks up at the angel, smiling in gratitude.[/i]

[i]She sighs and pats him on the head.[/i] "It's nice to see that you don't want me hurt, but I can handle myself. Angels aren't exactly the weakest of beings."

"I know that, but powerful or not, I wish that I takeep this burden alone. Others do not deserve to feel the pain and suffering I have because of him." [i]Rafael lightly laughs again, almost feeling like a child from his positive mood.[/i]

"I will respect your decision, Son of Adam. I will not force my help upon you, but I will always be here to help, remember that." [i]She gives him a reassuring smile.[/i]

"Thank you. You are open to my assistance as well. And, you are welcome within my refuge, but be mindful of what may lay inside."

[i]Cordelia nods.[/i] "Alright, but if you meet a girl by the name of Lyn with green hair, please send her to me."

"Certainly, I will." [i]Rafael offers one last smile[/i]

[i]She waves to him and lets him go.[/i] "Thank you, Son of Adam. That would be highly appreciated and even rewarded."
