Edited by Cthulhu The God: 2/18/2017 2:43:39 AMShe walks beside him in silence.
-
He led her to a small doorway, into a building that was only two stories tall. It didn't seem very efficient to hold Titans...
-
Em nudges his shoulder. "Nice place, Coop."
-
"Why don't we head inside? It's bigger on the inside..."
-
"Of course it is. Guys always say it gets bigger, but usually they're lying."
-
"Hehe. You'll see." He wrapped his hand around the door knob and pulled. As he did so, the wall of the house opened from the middle, and the two were staring into a large expanse of green with tents, Titans, buildings. "Welcome to the outpost."
-
Emma looks around in awe under her helm. "Damn, Coop. I love it."
-
"Told you it gets bigger." He snickered as he walked into the building
-
She follows closely behind. "Alright, fine. It really did get bigger."
-
The wall behind them closed "So this is the military, or rather Militia presence we have here."
-
"Nice. So, where can I get a battery? Maybe a smart pistol? Those things are nasty."
-
"No smart pistols. We don't make those available since they're limited. As for a better, talk to Seth, over there." He pointed to a tent that had batteries imbued into the ground outside it
-
"Thanks, Coop. I owe ya." She walks into the tent casually. "Is there a Seth here?"
-
A man stood over a table, yet strangely enough didn't look much like a pilot. He faced Emma, and nodded slightly "Aye. Seth Jensen. Special Forces." He stood tall and extended his hand towards Emma "Who might you be lassie? "
-
Emma takes his hand and shakes it firmly. "I'm Emma Gretzky. I was hoping to get a battery for my Northstar."
-
"Battery... Battery." He looked at the table, which was literally covered in batteries. He grabbed one, and shook slightly. It turned a bright green and he handed it out towards her "There ya go. You new around here?"
-
Emma hooks it on her back before looking back at the man. "Yeah, I am. Why do you ask?"
-
"Ya just have that look. Know what I mean?"
-
"Yeah, I guess I would. Hey, any ammo for a Kraber?"
-
"Ya'd have to ask the gun guy. I'm just good with batteries. Sorry. "
-
"Thanks for the battery anyways." She walks out of the tent and looks around.
-
There were many Pilots and Rifleman around. Though a tent did catch her eye. A small line of four stood in front of the entrance, waiting
-
Em walks up to the line and pokes the guy in the back on the shoulder. "What's this line for?"
-
The guy turned around, wearing standard Rifleman gear "Guns and ammo." Two men stepped out of the tent, and two more went in
-
Emma stays in line and waits. "Thanks, rifleman."
