"Whoa, whoa! Calm down Lyn!" Alex said as he gripped her shoulders to calm her down.

She stabs it one more time before sheathing her sword and turning to Alex with an expression of fear and anger. "I-I'm fine."
-
"Ya...of course you are." He said sarcastically. "We're fine. Okay? We're still here."
-
Lyn nods before leaping into a hug with Alex. "I-I hate the d-dark..."
-
"Ya. It's kind of a bitch. But we still gotta keep going, these people are counting on us."
-
"Yeah, okay. L-Lead the way, Alex. I can still fight, but I swear if every mission is going to be in the dark then I'm done."
-
"Ha! No way in hell am I doing these kinds of missions ever again. Let's keep moving." The two continued down the path, and the liquid on the ceiling continued to drip. But Lyn noticed something that should have been blatantly obvious before... There were no diamonds to be seen. Anywhere.
-
Lyn looks around at the walls and ceiling. "Hey, where are the diamonds? We're here for diamonds, right? I was hoping to see some sparkly rocks while we were here."
-
"Ya...its weird we haven't seen any yet." He said with a sense of worry. "We better not be shit outta luck..." The two continued down the dark path when they saw something ahead, a dim light. As they continued on the cave turned into a rocky hallway which lead to an old wooden door where the light crept from.
-
Lyn sighs in relief and smiles at the sight. "Light!"
-
"Wouldn't be so eager yet Ripley." He called Lyn. "Considering what we've seen...I don't think we're at the end of the tunnel yet." He approached the door, and put his hand up against it. He turned to Lyn and slowly nodded, looking for her confirmation to enter.
-
Lyn gestures to keep going with a confused and curious expression. "I'm Lyn not Ripley. Who's Ripley?"
-
He waved his hand, dismissing the question. "Are you ready?" He asked.
-
She takes a deep breath and nods while keeping a hand on one of her swords. "Ready."
-
With that, he opened up the door, slowly. He crept in, holding it open for Lyn which allowed her to enter quietly. But what she saw was...terrifying. The walls were black and flowing with a dark black liquid and into the sandy and gravel laid floor, seeping into it and making it moist and dark. As she looked ahead, she saw a long table, meant for eating at. There were a dozen men around the table, eating what looked to be... A human corpse. They tore out of it with their hands. Feasting upon it with bloody eagerness. Alex raised his fist to his mouth, trying not to throw up and stay quiet. At the opposite end of the table however, a man sat who was not eating anything. He was watching...observing.
-
Lyn freezes in place and tears form in her eyes. Her whole body shakes out of disgust and fear. She manages to keep following Alex after a few seconds.
-
Alex looked back to Lyn, he pointed to her blade, indicating she should draw it.
-
Lyn nods back while silently unsheathing her sword.
-
The man at the front of the table suddenly jerked his bloody face towards the two. He smiled with an open mouth and stood up. "Ah! Gentlemen...ladies. We seem to have guests!" He said in his soft psychotic voice. Everyone at the table slowly turned their heads towards the newcomers, and stood up from the table slowly.... "Care to join us for dinner?" The man asked. "We would love to have you..." "No thanks Hannibal lector." Alex said in defiance. "But we're here to end your little operation." "Is that so...?" He said with a chuckle.
-
"W-Why?" Lyn wipes away some tears and sniffles. "H-How?'
-
"Ah...do not fret little one. It will be over soon." He said menacingly. He turned to the other eleven men and women. "Kill them." Suddenly, each of the men and women ejected long steel spikes from under their sleeves, and they all began to Sprint at the two like wolves.
-
Lyn takes a deep breath and closes her eyes. She gets into a perfect fighting stance with her sword out in front of her. "You'll regret this...." She mumbles before slashing at the enemies. A large wave of blue fire emits from the slash and quickly approaches the targets.
-
This ignited them into flames, making them scream in pain. But their cannibalistic rage kept their sprint going as two jumps at Lyn, but they were intercepted by Alex who stepped in front of her and slashed her blade, cleaving through both of them before they could reach her, leaving 9 including their leader. "No fire huh?!" He asked as he brought up his blade to block an attacker who slashed towards him.
-
Lyn slashes the attacker at the waist swiftly before taking another large swing that sends a wave of electricity. For some reason she keeps her eyes closed throughout the whole ordeal.
-
The man she cleaved fell to the ground, dead. The wave of electricity shocked three of the women and Alex spared no time slashing into them, leaving five cannibals left. Two rushed at Lyn, slashing at her with their claws. One managed to go past her face and cut her cheek In his blood haze as the other two pounced on Alex who was taken to the ground.
-
Lyn doesn't flinch from the cut as she stabs the man through the heart with a small knife she had pulled out from a hidden location. Her sword finds its way through the other's head. She instantly sheathes her sword while throwing the knife at the head of an enemy that's attacking Alex.
