He continues to pop up and fire at the enemy, allowing his armor to take the bullets and trusting that they are to far off to actuately aim for the weaker points.

Alex began to escort the civilians out of the building, and as Cannon looked up he saw some of the pirates actually being attacked by the civilians who greatly out numbered them. However this made aiming difficult with the people in the way. The continued distraction wasn't going to work now, because the refugees decided to take that toll upon theirselves.
-
Switching back to his blaster configuration, he moves in to help them. Opening fire whenever a he has a clear shot as he moves closer.
-
He eventually moved into the building, dank in its design and crude in its looks. The first floor was evacuated but there was another seven to go and he could hear the gunfire on the second floor.
-
He moves in on the secods floor, weapon ready.
-
Alex and the captain were behind a desk, firing at the pirates who were held up behind doors in the hallways. Civilians were ducked on the ground, trying to avoid the gunfire.
-
Cannon sprints forward, putting himself between the civilians and the enemy bullets. He opens fire.
-
The pirates were sent to the floor quickly as bullets flew through them, but they fired at Cannon as well who as in the open. Deity quickly leapt over his cover and shot with this AK, taking them down and suppressing fire. The floor was cleared. He yelled to the Captain; "Get these people out of here!" "Got it!" She said as she began to escort them out. "We still got a couple floors to clear, you ready?" He asked Can
-
Cannon nods, reloading as he moves up the stairs.
-
Deity followed behind. As soon as they entered the next floor they were met with gunfire.
-
Cannon marches into the spray of bullets, returning fire with his blaster as they ping off him.
-
A dozen Bullers pinged into his armour but Alex quickly came to assist. He drew his sword, and ran in front of Can. The bullets deflected off the blade which seemed to be absorbing all of their energy. "Learned this from a robot dude! Move up and fire at the bitches! Stay behind me!"
-
Cannon nods, staying behind Alex as he fire his blaster into the enemy.
-
This proved to be a useful strategy as Deity provided ample cover for Cannon to fire accurately. It took mere minutes to eliminate everyone on the third floor, and they repeated this for the fourth, fifth and sixth. They arrived on the seventh floor, tired and bloody. "Jesus...just need to take a breath..."Deity said, putting his hands on his knees.
-
Cannon still seems fine, and simply takes a moment to reload. "One last floor."
-
"Good lord you have some stamina! Sure I'm the one who's been deflecting fucking bullets for the last twenty minutes but god damn!"
-
Cannon shrugs. "I'll go in front if you'd like." He replies.
-
"And get shot up?" Deity said with baited breath. "Nah! I'll be fine! Let's go!"
-
Cannon shrugs. "Suit yourself. I'm a bit low on ammo, so let's make it fast."
-
"Sounds good." He confirmed, composing himself. He opened the door, and raised His blade to block oncoming bullets. But...there was no one there except the civilians. One immediately came forward. "They all went up to the eighth floor!" He said. "God damnit they're fortifying for a last stand! Get out of here! All of you stat!" The civilians ran past the two and down the stairs to exit the building. After a couple of minutes the floor was cleared.
-
Cannon moves to the next staircase and draws a grenade. "Tine for fireworks?"
-
"Oh HELL yes." Deity answered with excitement.
-
Cannon pulls the pin and chucks it up the stairs. Seconds later a loud explosion is heard.
-
"Move!" Deity demanded. The two sprinted up the stairs and found a massive hole where the door was, and a pume of smoke. They made their way through and found a dozen bodies around them. This floor was different, as it was entirely an office. There were no more soldiers in the building, just one man who sat behind a massive oak desk with a wine glass in hand. It was half empty, and he took a long sip from it. It poured across the glass and past his dark dirty shaven skin. His eyes popped and his face was skinny, while the rest of him was rather built. "So you telling me..." He started. "You two took out just about all my men. In a day?!"
-
"Less than a day, actually. It's only been a few hours." Cannon replies, raising his blaster.
-
"Right. Pardon my French." He put carelessly. "And why exactly are you here? Wealth? I hardly have anything. Only men who were loyal to me."
