"Y-yeah. Just let me grab a few things..." He turns to a busted consul and hits a few buttons. "Serenity, download into your card. Authorization number A-1790-1066." "Command recieved." Comes a new voice. Seconds later a card ejects into his waiting hand. "Alright, let's go."

"What the hell is that? '

A new, female voice pipes up from a speaker on the man's armor. "I am UCE AI SRT-0401-21, Serenity. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"AI I'm assuming?"

"That's what I just said, yes." Replies Serenity. The Commander doubles over, coughing. "W-we need to warn the fleets... About what's coming."

"We have long distance communications if you need any."

"That should work..." "Commander, I must insist that you seek medical attention."

"Yeah yeah. Let's get out of here." [b]The dojo troop pulled out a mask, handing it to the captain [/b]

The Commander pulls it on, sealing the hood of his uniform over it and following.

[b]The troops lead him back to the gunship, and take off towards the ship. Once abroad, they rushed him to the med Bay. The doctors doing what they could [/b]

His injuries include a puntured lung, broken ribs, and extensive bleeding inside and out.

In the meantime, Serenity demands to speak to whomever is in charge.

[b]Nathaniel entered the medical area, speaking to Serenity [/b] "Good day."

"I wouldn't call it good, but hello. I'm assuming you want to know why my ship showed up outside your planet?"

"I have a theory. You were probably either coming here when you were attacked, or you were headed somewhere else and ended up here."

"We were on our way here with the ninth fleet. We were ambushed going into jump and several ships were corrupted."

"Okay... What else can you tell me?"

"Well, we come from another timeline where multiple universes have been essentially eaten by what we call the Corruption."

"The corruption? What exactly is that?"

"I'm not completely sure myself, but it appears to be an energy source. It can control and evolve species into whatever it wants them to be. And it's hungry."
