I've been a major fan of this game since day one. As a Flat Earth Theorist I am continually intrigued by the level of genius and innovation that Bungie has woven into Destiny' s story and game play mechanics. The richness and depth of the game's plot demonstrates the Bungie envisions a universe in which [i]anything[/i] is possible. The undertones of wonder invoked by the stately but worn traveller, silently guarding the last pillar of humanity, is a scene that ha impressed the imaginations of everyone of us that has played the game. Also, Bungie's adept and professional maintenance of Destiny's in-game mechanics is a testament to their legendary status as developers. Shotguns are the most ballenced and more fun than any other time I can remember. The fact that we are here, using these forums, proves that Destiny is more than just an ordinary game. It is a work of digital artistry that continues to engage and enthrall its fanbase. All these points are made more real to me due to my knowledge of Flat Earth Theory. As a planar theorist I am convinced that Bungie is likely at least open to the claims of Flat Earth Theory. They are one of the most forward thinking companies I have known. It only stands to reason that they would be at the forefront of the theories shaping our conception of what earth actually is. I've asked Bungie about their stance regarding Flat Earth Theory in the past. I understand they probably don't want to publicly commit to unpopular perspectives. But I still hold on to my dream that my favourite gaming company might embrace some aspects of Flat Earth Theory...
