*Cerberus sends massive fleet* *Arcturus Station blows up* Everyone ded. JK
Everyone was yelling things out toward each other in different languages, and many of these reporters/fans tried to reach out or tackle the crew, leading the troops to put them down in non-lethal ways. They eventually went passed the checkpoint and reached the main district of the station, as Alliance, turian, and quarian soldiers and engineers mingled among one another.
-
"Quite the place might I say. Lots of Uh... Potential."
-
"Trust me, the last time it got crazy, Cryark over her nearly suffocated from all the Krogan and turian females trying to tackle him." Merrick said, the turian responding with a sour face. "I must speak to Merrick for a little bit before I start getting everyone together for negotiations. You may have some free time to yourselves." Hackett says, before walking away with Merrick.
-
"Marker, you were a sergeant in the dojo Guard right?" "Yes sir." "Excellent. Then you'll know what to do. Take the men. Fan out through the area. Make sure it's secure." "Sir?" "You can never be to sure." Marker simply nodded, gatherings up the Militia troops and moving through the area
-
"I'll go with them; make sure they don't get lost around here." Cryark replied, meeting up with Marker. This just left Jack with the asari and Valeria, who had brought her little 5-year old Maya with her. "So..." Valeria asked, "what do you guys feel like doing?"
-
"I'd recommend a drink but.... What else can we do?"
-
"Well... there's always shopping, any number of Elcor or human bands...there's some restraints that we could try..." Valeria had suggested. "...Or we could always try fighting someone. It's what I used to do working for the Eclipse before coming with Merrick and them." Silsia replied.
-
"I'd rather not draw any more attention to us through fighting."
-
"Right...I'll go ahead and get Maya to safety...you guys go ahead and...do whatever." Val replied, walking with her kid toward some kid-friendly area, leaving the Asari and the pilot there. Running forward to them was some sort of woman in a purple and red dress, with one of the hovering cameras and a microphone. "Khalishah Bin Al-Jilani, Westerlund News." She says, extending a hand to the two.
I think that's how you spell her name.
-
"Not interested." Cooper walked past her, motioning for the Asari to follow
-
LMAO
The asari followed...yet a distance away, so did the reporter, hiding from cover to cover watching the two. Silesia whispered into Jack's ear whilst walking, asking, "Should I throw a Stasis on her?"
-
:3
"Nah. If we do anything like that she'll just make a big deal out of it by cutting out the part where she came after us. Makes it look worse for us."
-
Edited by A Stormy Dio: 2/23/2017 7:20:02 PM"You do know she'll keep harassing us until we start talking, right? There's a good reason she gets beaten up often; especially by Commander Shepard." She replayed, chuckling at the thought of it.
-
"Watch this." He ducked downwards as the two mingled with a crowd of people. He pulled the Asari to the side, into a building that looked like a restaurant and got behind cover, completely unseen to the reporter
-
The reporter moved on, seemingly unable to find the pair. "Where'd you learn that from? Usually, one of us should've beaten her up by now." The Asari asked, a genuine smile forming on her face.
-
"I stopped a secretive IMC operation, that gave me quite some attention. So I needed to learn how to avoid them."
-
"Right...and yet they called me experienced." Silsia mumbled to herself, as she waited for Jack's signal to potentially go.
-
"We're clear." He rose to his feet, and a few patrons from inside the restaurant gave the two strange looks "Go back to eating. Nothing to see here"
-
The pedestrians seemed confused, as the Asari and human went out, before they went back to their meal. "So...what do you wanna do before Merrick happens to finish with the old man?" Silsia asks once she made sure there were no more reporters stalking on them.
-
"Actually, you know what? I'm kinda hungry."
-
"Alright then...know a good place to eat. Belongs to an Alliance soldier; father and mother died when the Lenny invaded Bangledesh, he says." She whispers to his ear. The door opens, as the chiming of a bell rings. A Hindi-type chef comes over and recognizes the Asari. "Ah, yes! Come, sit and order! A waiter will be with you as soon as we can!" He yells, as they take a seat near the window looking out toward the fleets.
-
"Nice place. Indian food speciality?"
-
"Yeah...Val introduced it to me a few months after Hackett got the crew together. We'd usually just hang out, eat, drink until we get a hangover..." she says, sighing at all the memories, "This place was special to us." Eventually, a waiter came over and asked what they wanted.
Up to you.
-
"I'll have the Alu Matar."
-
"Same." She replied, the waiter moving to get the chefs to prepare for the order. "You know, good old Merrick would usually try to get us somewhere fancy, like Gagarin Restaurant, on Gagarin Station, or out in the Terminus Systems; I'd prefer something...more to home, like here. So tell me...what's Harmony like?" She asks, relaxing into the booth they were sitting in.
