Sarah looked through the ruins, startled by the state of the once thriving city.
It's called the Last City a reason. Many because it is the last city even in a different timeline, the thought.
She searched the wreckage, looking for survivors.

Snow was sitting inside a small cafe nearby. The windows were smashed and there was some well-made graffiti, but otherwise the building was fine. She appeared to be sipping a cup of coffee.
-
Sarah payed no attention to the cafe, but rather focused on the debris around her.
-
Snow looked out at her, her ears twitching as her hand drifted back down to her swollen belly as she felt a kick. A teleportation stone was in her hand as well, just in case something bad were to happen.
-
Sarah dug through the debris, looking for anyone. No luck.
-
Snow closed her eyes, focusing as she probed around with her mind. She felt a ping nearby, inside a half collapsed bakery nearby. She looked toward Sarah, her ears perking. "The bakery, someone's there." she said, trying to project her voice.
-
Sarah dug through the rubble of the bakery, looking for someone.
-
A mewing could be heard from underneath a shelf.
-
She moved the shelf and was amazed.
-
It was just a small, tan cat. Its tail had gotten stuck under a jar of jam, or something, and scampered off as soon as it was free. Snow sighed as the realization that whatever powers she had were slowly fading away.
-
Sarah sat against the wall. She closed her eyes, and thought...
-
Snow sighed, getting up out of her chair slowly, being mindful of the child developing inside her as she slowly but surely made her way over to Sarah, sitting down beside her. Its not like she would have startled her, she made enough noise getting there to have let her know she was arriving.
-
Her eyes remained shut, "You care for others."
-
Snow looked confused, unsure if she was talking to herself or not. "Were you talking to me? Or yourself?.." she asked, trying to sound polite.
-
"You."
-
She was quiet for a little. "I...suppose I do.."
-
"Bravery is always appreciated. Integrity is doing acts of kindness even when no one is watching," She continued.
-
Snow nodded, having figured all this out a long time ago. She assumed she should remain quiet, subconsciously alert for anything.
-
The silence was tranquil. She enjoyed it.
-
Snow eventually yawned, rubbing her left eye as her stomach gurgled. "Darn food cravings..."
-
She saw Pablo Quesobar walking a little girl who was bruised and covered in smoke. "Your mother can't have gona far, don't worry. What did you say she looked like?" He asked, smiling down at the girl. 'She had blue high heels, and a purple dress,' She said to Pablo who nodded, looking around. His heart fell to his stomach when he saw a cinder block about 4 meters in diameter. Under the cinder block.. were a pair of legs clad in blue high heels and the beginnings of a purple dress. Blood was pooled around the body, and the mother was clearly dead. "..." 'Do you see her..?' She followed his vision to the crushed corpse. 'Mama..?' She asked, tears streaming down her cheeks. She looked back at Pablo who just wiped his eyes quietly. "You can stay with me if you'd like.." Pablo offered grimly. The girl slowly nodded, hugging him tightly. He just stared at the corpse, contemplating.
-
Sarah watched them, than ran to the little girl. She brushed her off, then put her hand on the girl's shoulder. The soot on her body disappeared and the bruises faded. Sarah grew dizzy, her wings golden, and skin glowing with a gold tint.
-
Pablo turned. "I.. Thank you, miss. Are you alright?" His accent was a thick and Colombian one. He watched her, curious.
-
"I'm fine... I promise.... I'll be okay," She replied, struggling to walk straight.
-
"Your body says otherwise." He said, watching her. "You sure you don't need a lift somewhere?"
-
"No... I'm fine," she insisted. Her wings of fire retaining the color golden, she fell to the ground.
