Some clarification.
1. This is not an invasion.
2. This post is more set up for the end of Rafael's first story arc here.
3. I might reply, I might not.
On one of the taller semi fixed buildings at the edge of Dojoville, Rafael climbed to the top. He looked out into the distance. Varren was gone. Centrax was taken by.. Him. Quiet is dying slowly. Why must this happen? What has he done? Will things get worse? These are some of the questions he asks himself as he contemplates what has happened. He took something out of his pocket. It was a black, yet shiny locket. Opening it, Rafael looked upon the picture of his dead wife that he stored in it. Tears fell from his eyes, but he forced himself to not cry.
He looked upon the previously lush and peaceful country side. The Dojo was still in shambles. Both from the corruption of some of the previous guards of the Dojo, and the attack from the Dread. And what was he able to do? Nothing. Not a damn thing. He wasn't able to help stop those.. Things from destroying this place.
While Rafael gazed out, a strange dark rip in the ground began to shift open. The ground did not shake. An eery light crept from the dark opening in the ground in the distance. From it, a large army of swarm like monsters erupted. Minions of Malren, Rafael knew. They did not attack the Dojo, nor did they go straight into orbit. They fixated around the crack in the ground. This did not look good, at all.

The sounds of a boost where heard as a man landed on the roof top a few beside Rafael. He rolled, and stood tall as he turned to Raf "Who the hell are they?"
-
"Those who wish to bring an even worse force to this world. And others." Rafael turns to them as he states this, but as he turns back.. A dome of sorts forms over the large group of creatures. "Great. Can't even get to them now." He sighs, frustrated. But grateful others recognize this.
-
"That dome. What is it? Some kind of shield. I've seen them used on Titans."
-
"Shielding. Impenetrable by physical means and mystical means. This is a bad sign. One of the worst potential things to happen to the Dojo at this time."
-
"So we'll need to walk in through the shield I'm guessing?"
-
"If it was that easy, I wouldve said. Besides, even if we were to get in like that. We'd be torn to pieces. Look how many are in there."
-
"Than you have a plan?"
-
"We defend the Dojo." Energy envelopes around Rafael as specteral defenses and a small army of wraiths form in the area between the boundary, and the dome.
-
"They with you?" Jack drew his revolver, a Wingman
-
"Indeed." As the summons take form, they gather, making lines and positions.
-
"All I got is a few guns. Am I good!"
-
"Yes. Besides. You'll have plenty of time to make sure you have everything. The beasts still seem to be forming their ranks."
-
"How long do you think it's going to go on for?"
-
"About 5 minutes." Rafael looks out to the distance. Suddenly, a portal opens to the right of them. Out of it, two cloaked figures emerge. "Mom? Dad?" The two new arrivals take their hoods off. Revealing an older, rugged man that looks similar to Rafael, and a woman that looks a similar age to the man.
-
The Pilot, who had actually raised his revolver at the two lowered it slowly, watching them
-
"Woah there son, don't need to wave weapons at your elders now." The man chuckles at his wife's comment. "Thought we'd miss the big fight, Raf?" "Yes.. But thank you for coming." Rafael faces the team. "Don't worry about them. They're harmless."
-
"Good. I was worried there for a second."
-
"Let's help you. eh?" Rafael's father takes out a gauntlet of sorts, pulling out a keypad. Putting in a code, a layer of a strange metal covers his body except for his head, which he puts hid hood over. Rafael's mother summons her own army of spectral wraiths. Tripling their forces. She puts her hood on as well
It's too bad Roy's still in a predicament. I'm saving the actual fight with Malren for when he's back.
-
Im honored. But it might take another week.
-
Completely fine. The whole army of beasts thing is supposed to take a while to summon Malren itself so.
-
Oh great!
Jack holstered his revolver and drew an assault rifle
-
"Honestly though, Mom. Why show up now? Couldn't have done it before?" "Not our fault. We needed to raise Centrax."
-
"Raise him? Wasn't Centrax that light user who was already pretty old?"
-
"He's only 17. Didn't pull his act together until a few months ago. The light just changed his body to look like he's in his 20's."
-
"Oh yeah. Of course. That makes perfect sense!"
