The end of an era
Fortis looked past the stars to some far off place. He had been resident of the dojo for some time now, but didn't appear very often. With a dreary look in his eye, he sighed.
"It is time to find somewhere else, as this dojo no longer suits me."
Within the hour, Fortis's shipyard had began to mobilize, and half of his fleet had left. Before he left, Fortis had stood in front of the shipyard to say one last goodbye to whoever wanted to. He also had a stockpile of boxes that he looked like he was going to give away.
Open, Fortis is leaving for a while if not forever. If you know him, or even if you don't, I would suggest you say goodbye. Not because it is the morally right thing to do, but because those boxes are for whoever responds.
Altar walks up to him. "I never knew you personally but I heard many things about you. I wish you safe journeys wherever you may go." She extends her hand.
-
Fortis shakes it. "Thank you, and I wish you good luck in your journeys in the dojo."
-
"Thank you sir." Her hand returns to her side. "Vince and Emma also wish you well."
-
Rafael approaches, looking much less scarred now. "I never knew you, but I have to say. Unfortunate that others must leave. I can't blame you though." He offers a handshake out of respect.
-
Fortis shakes his hand. "Thank you. I always have room for more if you wish to leave."
-
"I will remember the offer in case." Rafael nods, about to depart.

Snow walked over by him, her ears tilting to the left. "Going somewhere Fortis?" she asks, almost rhetoriclly.
-
"Yep, I have to go to this place called Civis Praemium. Much more high tech than the dojo, and I get ownership of a large amount of their military."
-
"Ah. Interesting. Well, tell future me I said hi." she said, smiling as she walked off, smirking.
-
"You forgot your box, and how do you know about your future self?"
-
"The box goes where the box wishes to go, and how am I supposed to know about my future self from the past of now's future?" she said, giggling as she waved goodbye.
-
"Uh, ok. Goodbye." Fortis said, obviously confused. As he turned around and went into his ship, he said "Note to self: learn how to talk about time travel without screwing with peoples minds."
End?
"Are you Uh... For tips? Fortis?" The man that spoke was clearly young, early to mid twenties and was rather short for his age. Standing at 5'5 the young man looked up at Fortis, terrified
-
"Yes, I am. And you are?"
-
"Hi I'm.... I'm here on behalf of Sensei Royal. He's a little caught up in something so he sent me."
-
"Ah, I knew Royal wouldn't let me leave without saying goodbye. Is there anything he told you to tell me?"
-
"Uh yeah... Yeah." The man reached into his pocket and drew forth a folded piece of paper, handing it to Fortis
-
"Thank you." Fortis unfolded the note and read it.

Edited by Royal Blade: 2/26/2017 4:50:54 AM"Vade in pace, Fortisimo. Shit that sounds ridiculous doesn't it? Changing your name to Fortisimo. I always knew the day would come when you had to leave the dojo. You have so many things to worry about. I should know, I was a grand Commander of an army once. What I'm trying to say is this, you were a good and honorable man while I knew you. Always looking out for your own. Always looking out for us. And I'm sorry I couldn't be there to wish you goodbye... C'est LA vie. That's life I guess. I hope to dine with you in Valhalla when, and if we ever end up there. Go in peace... Royal."

"Well it seems Royal was almost comparable to Cicero in his letter writing skills. I can't really think of anything to follow that up, but I am try." Fortis began writing a letter in response.
-
"Ci-cicero? Is that good or bad?"
-
"That is a good thing. Cicero was one of the greatest writers in Rome." Fortis had finished writing and held out his letter. "Here you go. Oh, and take that box with you as well." There was a metal crate, only six inches tall and six inches wide, that Fortis had pointed to.
-
"What's wi-with the box?" The man took the letter, putting it is pocket
-
"It is just a little goodbye gift. It shouldn't be too heavy."
