"All hands on deck. All military personnel are to be assigned to their Breacher Pod stations. Anyone not within these pods in 29 minutes and 5 seconds must stay aboard the ship to provide covering fire." The VI said across the station, as the rest of the Deimos crew came over.
"So that's what you meant..." Merrick replied. Val went over to her own pod along with 13 other Alliance troopers, as the Deimos crew entered their own pod.
An Alliance engineer, male, looked to them, and asked, "Everyone strapped in?"

The Invictus crew, along with Jack Cooper simply nodded, finishing their preparations
-
The engineer nodded, before Hackett peered in. "Your plan is to go and infiltrate the dreadnought. You either have two choices; you can take control of the dreadnought and destroy the remaining forces here, or you can head down to its FTL core, plant enough explosives in there, and redirect it to a gas giant such as Thelum. Then, we'll detonate it." Hackett summarized to the Invictus crew. "Valeria and the soldiers I have her will search for any information on the upper decks of the ship, while Merrick and his crew will help break its outer defenses, so that we can send reinforcements in if necessary. You will have quite the number of allies on your side. Good luck." He replied, before leaving. The Alliance engineer went back into the pod, as three extra Alliance troops followed them in...including an N7 Slayer. "All preparations are done for this pod. Do you guys need any refreshments before I lock the hatch?" He asks in an Irish or Scottish accent.
-
Jack: "We're good." Noble: "Agreed"
-
He nodded. "Alright then." Leaving the ship, the hatch to the pod closed, locking and sealing itself. "10 minutes until pods are launched." Replied the VI within every Breacher Pod. The N7 Slayer, which had a feminine shape, turned to Iseph. "Guessing this is your first time working with something like the Alliance?"
-
Iseph turned towards the N7 "Negative. Working with factions, military, corporations. Necessity for survival."
-
"Quite understandable. I mean, I joined the Alliance just because I wanted to make sure that I made my mom and dad proud back home. The Alliance defends that planet like its own face. Kinda like Eden Prime, to be honest. Or Earth before all that stuff went down." She says, looking at her whips for when they enter the ship. "First year being an N7; feels real...awesome to be honest." She admits.
-
Iseph: "First year. Becomes clear, most likely busy with personal issues. Could not accept promotion. Death of loved one opened up options. This included." Noble: "Is the whole Backstory really necessary?" Iseph: "Affirmative, essential to know potential and ongoing allies."
-
"Yeah, he...guessed it right. Have I ever told you about an old crew I used to work with?" She asks. "Probably the best time of my life before they pulled me off the ship. 'Personal and social issues' they'd use as an excuse. I know they were trying to protect me and all." She responded.
-
Ghost: "You're telling me hotshot here got it right?" Iseph: "Simple to deduce, follows protocol. Excellent posture, most likely an excellent fighter follows."
-
"Who the hell is this? An AI?" She asks Noble, pointing to Iseph. "I mean, he kinda reminds me of the old hanar who used to somehow shoot 5 Predator Pistols at once with his tentacles. Or that old Merrick...guy knows how to shoot stuff and get the job done."
-
Iseph: "Affirmative. I am indeed an A.I. designated, Internal Strategic exit probability happens. Iseph. My job is no calculate the needs of survival, potential ways of escape and other factors of missions."
-
"Huh...didn't expect that." She replies, sitting next to Iseph, as the countdown begins to tick. The Vi says, "2 minutes until release. All personnel in pods must be strapped into their seats tightly, correctly, and firmly."
-
Serendipity: "Strapped in and rearing to go lady robot." Iseph: "The necessity of you saying that was extremely low. Is there reasoning." Noble: "Just shut up Iseph." The crew broke into a light laughter as Iseph looked around confused
Also, you have permission to kill any of my characters except for Jack
-
I might not kill any of your characters yet...that'll be when the suicide mission-like plot happens!
"1 minute until launch. Activating shutter view." The A.I said, as the faint sound of pods launching are heard in the distance. Around them, fighters from the Alliance, Dojo and Cerberus were fighting each other, the Alliance cruisers trying to break their way to the dreadnought. "Firing in three...two...one...mark." The VI chirped, as hundreds of the Breacher Pods fired simultaneously, their objective out in front of them. "Jack, we have reason to believe that you're our leader. At least that's what the plan was." The Slayer replied. "Riley, by the way. Just if we make it out of here alive."
-
Just letting you know I'm consenting to death if the need arises.
Jack: "I came here on behalf of the dojo and Militia. So yeah, I'm probably the head of our squadron."
-
I know. I'll say this; the worst ending of my plot is that everyone's dead. And I mean EVERYONE.
"Breaching in 3...2...1...Mark." The VI said, as the pods pounded into the dreadnought, a loud thud was heard, rocking the pods for a few seconds.
After your response, it'll switch between Val's perspective and your perspective. Let's just say they're two reasons I'm doing this...

Oh so like the Mass Effect 2 ending were everyone dies?
Jack: "Here we go boys and girls!!"
Yeah you do you
Edited by A Stormy Dio: 2/28/2017 12:03:55 PM
The worst ending is...well, imagine Rouge One's Ending, Titanfall's Militia Ending (on Demeter), Virmire, and Mass Effect 2's Worst Ending combined and then throwing in a few extra factors...
The sound of a few frag grenades launching was heard, muffled screams being heard. The hatch opened, revealing about 4 dead Assault Troopers and a Centurion which was missing a few limbs. ----------------------------------------------------- Valeria started searching around her area of the ship (the upper levels, specifically), as she hid behind cover. Her light armor helped her move more quickly, unlike the bulky armor of both Cerberus and Alliance troopers, which were currently shooting one another. "How long 'till we get to the bridge?" She asked. "About three doors down, ma'am." One if he soldiers next to her replied, as they shot the soldiers blocking their path. ---------------------------------------------------- "Well..." Riley replied, walking out of the pod, as two more pods opened their hatches, revealing a few more Alliance soldiers. "So, Jackie." She jokingly says, "What're your orders?"
Up to you; blow up the damn dreadnought, or try to control it?
-
Nice....
Iseph: "Pilot Cooper, may I state that -" Jack: "Keep to yourself. Just this once." Jack turned to face Riley "Where's the bridge?"
-
"Upstairs. Val and the rest are trying to gain information on the bridge. We might be able to meet with their remaining forces upstairs." Riley replies, bringing up some sort of holographic map on her Omni-tool. "I think we may also think of passing by the interrogation room, although that's up to you" she replies. The remaining Alliance troopers looked toward Jack for direction.
-
Edited by Royal Blade: 2/28/2017 12:21:07 PMNoble: "We can't get sidetracked now, we should head straight for the bridge." Serendipity: "Agreed" Jack: "The quicker we take the bridge, the quicker we can claim the rest of the ship. Let's get up to Them. Provide reinforcements."
-
Edited by A Stormy Dio: 2/28/2017 12:27:45 PM"Yes sir!" Riley replied, as the Alliance soldiers saluted back. There were stairs nearby that led to the middle floors of the dreadnought...and shooting being heard nearby. ------------------------------------------------ Val and the rest were shooting their way to the bridge, as she beat a Cerberus Engineer to death with the bunt of her Shotgun. She had half the original Alliance soldiers she originally had. The soldiers were covering her, firing at the 10 or so Assault Troopers and Alliance soldiers within the area.
-
"Let's move!" Jack, and the Invictus crew entered the stairwell, weapons raised as they moved up
-
The sound of shooting was definitely heard, as behind the door was the sound of the shooting...yet it needed bypassing. All around were dead Cerberus soldiers, of various shapes and sizes. Another room was behind them, also needing bypassing. A faint muffling sound was heard, as a few soldiers were heard laughing at...whatever they were doing.
Head to the soldiers or open the door and provide reinforcement.
-
Jack: "Iseph, get that door open. We need to provide reinforcements." Iseph nodded as he bypassed the doorway, opening it
