"I'm right here," Blake's Ghost, Flame said.
"Tell me when to drop the Ward," Chase said.

"Now!" Fionn calls, stepping from civer and summoning his golden gun. It looks different from a normal one, it's bigger and brighter. He raises it and squeezes the trigger, and the whole world seems to go white from the size and brightness of the blast.

Edited by Splashback77: 3/1/2017 3:02:32 AMChase dropped the Ward just in time. JJ, Sarah and himself all safe within the Ward of Dawn.

The massive burst of light dissapears, leaving their vision a bit blotchy. As thier vision clears, they notice the Gate Lord and Spire are bith gone, replace by a massive, smoking trench that extends up into the nearby mountain, which is now missing it's peak. Fionn lies at the edge of the crater, unconscious.
-
Sarah opens her eyes and runs to Fionn. "Finny!" She called. She picks up Fionn, in her arms, and calls for Wisp. "Wisp!" She shouted. Chase laid his hand on her shoulder, "Sarah. You're not going anywhere until you tell me what the hell is going around around here." Blake was revived by Flame, and he brushed himself off, "You too, James."
-
Wisp appears nearby. "What? What is i- oh. He used the golden gun, didn't he?"
-
"Yeah, I guess he did," Sarah replied. "My head hurts from that light, so my memories are fuzzy. Weren't you... dead before?" Chase asks.
-
"Give Fionn a few seconds and he'll be up." Fionn stirs.
-
Sarah doesn't leave Fionn's side she holds his hand. She begs, "Please, Finny."
-
He slowly begins to wake up, his helmet dematerializing to reveal a somewhat dazed look. "An' that, ladies an' gents, is why I don' use my golden gun." He mutters.
-
"How the heck is it that powerful?" Chase asked.
-
"Lad, I'm almost a century old. Ya learn a few things." He says, looking and sounding exhausted.
-
"Age does come with a dose of knowledge," Chase muttered. "Knowledge is power," Puma said.
-
"Aye... It does." Fionn's head bobs tiredly.
-
"Alright Finny. You look tired," Sarah said, "I think you need to rest."
-
He smiles tiredly. "I'll rest later, for now there's still a fight to be won." "Um... Fionn, you exhausted your light. I'm not sure if I'll be able to revive you." Wisp says.
-
"No, Fionn. Don't fight anymore today. You're exhausted," She said. She threw his arm on her right shoulder, and puts her left arm on his other shoulder. and began to walk away from the fight.
-
He struggles weakly. "I can still fight! I can snipe! I wan' ta fight!"
-
"Fionn, you need to rest," She argued, "You've been drained pretty badly."
-
" 'M fine..." He slurs, his accent seeming thicker.
-
She picks him up, carrying him in her arms, "Fionn. You need to rest. If you don’t... if you die in your current state, there's no coming back."
-
He continues to struggle lightly before giving up. "Fine... A' least put me where I can watch?"
-
"Nope, then you'll try to join the battle," She says, running still.
-
He pouts, but dosent comment. Ahe can hear gunfire and explosions behind her.
-
She panted as she ran North, away from the gunfire. She saw mountain in the distance, looking very far off but she continued to head toward them.
-
Fionn seems to be slowly regaining his strength. "You can put me down now, love. Nobuse in tirin' yourself out too."
