I've been playing since Day 1, but last Fall my console was stolen. In January I finally replaced it, but every time I tried to download the necessary Destiny update (Version 1.30) I would receive error code CE-36244-9, meaning the data was corrupted (this didn't happen with any other game). I've tried everything:
tried pausing and resuming the download,
tried downloading in Rest Mode,
tried canceling and deleting the download then trying again,
power-cycled my network equipment,
cleared my cache and even done a full re-initialization,
changed the DNS settings,
tried using both LAN and Wifi,
tried using both digital and physical copies of the game,
I know it's not a space issue because this is the very first thing I tried to download,
tried going over to a friend's house to use their internet,
tried downloading the update using a different user,
tried restoring my licenses,
tried de-activating and re-activating my console as my primary PS4,
and I can't think what else to do.
I even returned my console, and bought a new one. Same problem. I love this game and just wish I could play it again. I've seen people with the same problem on several forums, but couldn't find a single solution. Are people still having this problem?

Someone with the same problem fixed their issue by assigning their PS4 a static IP address, and using Google DNS. http://community.us.playstation.com/t5/Consoles-Peripherals/Error-CE-36244-9-SOLVED/td-p/43550994
