Over the past three years of playing Destiny I've been overjoyed, excited, saddened, disappointed, and every other emotion you can add I've experienced over the game. I've picked it back up after being burned out by the grind to four hundred light for a while, and found myself genuinely enjoying the game again. So here is a list of many different changes and bugs/nerfs/buffs that annoyed me and made me pick the game back up again.
Various things that annoyed me:
1. The phalanx glitch (Still exists to this day).
2. Various taken abilities. Example: The taken goblin granting immunity to everything within a five hundred mile radius.
3. Taking the reputation buff away from the nightfalls (The blue glow).
4. Changing damage variables on burns. Example: Enemy's do three times damage to you, while you do two times damage to them.
5. Nerfing the gjallahorn wolfpack rounds (Not as salty as I used to be).
6. Letting deej play Destiny (Slight joke).
7. Enemies that still track the hunter once they're invisible.
8. Nerfing the titan sunbreaker class as a whole, it felt great to charge through tons of minotaurs without a scratch, however with the PvP balancing concerned, it's understandable.
9. Leaving a lot of "Player favourite" weapons behind in years one and two. The vex mythoclast, the fatebringer, Atheons epilogue, etc.
10. Changing ammo perks for the black hammer, bringing it down from it's ivory tower of being the chosen boss destroyer.
11. Nerfing three of coins into the ground for the majority, to punish the minority.
12. Micro - transactions.
Despite all of this, I was happy to see many changes brought to the game along with dlcs. All in all Destiny has a stable and fluent shooting platform and has changed over the years to keep players interested. While it's obvious many things didn't go according to plan, it's certainly a game worth trying and keeping.
