Garin frowned and stepped towards her.
"You seem to be ignorant of who I am, girl. I am Daesmiir, King of Hell. And you... You will kneel before me."
A wall of flames ruptured through the ground, sealing them together. Daesmiir appeared to have no weapons, but he was the King of Hell.
His body rippled with scars and gashes from wars long past, though it was starting to bulge and gain a red hue. Now would be the best time to finish it.

"Last I checked... ...No, never mind." The being slammed her sword into the cracked earth, as she beckoned Garin - or the demon - to combat. Golden energy began to course throughout her body, as she almost began to blur.
-
His frown turned into an eerie grin as twisting horns emerged from his temples. Steel wings ripped through his back as he started to hover a few feet above the ground. He had transformed into Daesmiir, King of Hell and Destroyer of Worlds. "YOU! YOU THINK YOU COULD DEFEAT ME?! DAESMIIR, THE LORD OF HELL?!" He simply shook his head as demons started to crawl out of the ruptures in the ground. "Then you are sorely mistaken."

"You talk too much." She merely aimed her left palm towards Garin, as a gleaming beam of golden light suddenly tore through reality and flew straight towards Garin, the space that it passed through glowing. The air began to turn fuzzy and dark, as Maria only smirked underneath her helm. It had begun.
-
His hand flew up to block the beam of yellow energy as the demons started to surround her.
-
Immediately, Garin's hand was incinerated as the beam passed through it with ease, tearing through his shoulder and incinerating the arm entirely. Can't block everything, bitch. Maria smiled underneath her helmet, as she proceeded to swing horizontally through the hordes, cutting down several immediately while keeping a eye on Garin: faint laughter echoed from her helmet, as if she took amusement in this.
-
"...Maria. Only a few people have that power." His hand started to grow back, though it was connected to the rest of his body only by bone, ligaments, and tendons. He reached out with his other hand and released a Cero.
-
Maria stopped, before turning towards Garin and storming towards him once the hordes were cut down. She swung with her left, as a blade of golden energy passed through the Cero and incinerated it instantaneously, the energy fading away into the air. "Like I said - you talk too much." She only continued to approach, humming a quiet tune as she did so. She'd make this quick.
-
He scowled as more demons rose from the ground. "Maria, I'm her for one person, and that's Ian. You tell me where he is, and I will leave without any more damage."
-
She shook her head, as she continued to slice through the hordes without emotion or fear. She didn't respond, too focused on combatting the demons and preparing for the so-called lord to attack.
-
His eyes widened in fear as the screech of metal on metal sounded through the air. Through the black sky flew Ian, soaring on his metal wings before landing next to Maria. "Can you handle him?"
-
"You could assist me. But yes, I'm more than capable." Maria muttered, staring back up at Garin before twirling the massive, bloodstained blade and circling Garin slowly.
-
Daesmiir simply shook his head as he disappeared with a sonic boom. "SHIT! This might sound weird, but grab my shoulders!"
-
"I don't need your f*cking help; tell me where the hell he went on his own." Maria muttered, as she sheathed the massive blade upon her back. She yawned - clearly trying to piss off Garin or Ian.
-
Ian's lips curled into a smile. "He might have returned to Hell, Maria. If you're willing to go..." He wasn't lying, but he wasn't being truthful either.
-
"Tell me," Before Ian knew it, he was suddenly sent into the air, crashing down from a kick from Marla - but...how? "The original goal was to kill him, then take care of you. I can always make arrangements to that." Maria slammed her foot upon Ian's chest, slamming her other foot upon his hand while keeping her hand aimed at his arm. "Now. Tell me."
-
Ian simply laughed. "You still don't understand, do you?" His chest shifted beneath her foot. "You can't beat him, Maria. Especially not on his home turf." He appeared next to her with a purple flash.
-
"Who says I can't? Perhaps I won't beat him. Perhaps I'll outlast him until the end of time." She turned, the weapon slammed into the cracked earth. A deep sigh escaped her mouth. "Perhaps you should die first, and pay for your sins. That was the original plan."
-
He shook his head disapprovingly. "If you can beat me in a game of blackjack, then I'll fight you."
-
"Or I could just end you, right here and now. That seems much more exciting than blackjack."
-
"You may try." He was gone in with a flash of purple light, leaving only a note.
