He was immediately worried and sat down next to her. "Is everything alright?"
-
You saw a few hickies on her neck that she tried to cover with her hair. "O-of course."
-
"Sally..." He gave her a stern look and put his hand on her shoulder. "You can tell me."
-
"I shouldn't..." She turned away shamefully.
-
He looked at the ground for a moment. "Who did that?" With a sudden moment of realization, his eyes widened in fear. "Did I do that?"
It didn't go that far...
-
"No, not you.." She said, even more shamefully. She felt like trash for admitting that.
-
"Sally, it's okay. We had just met." He hugged her.
-
She just sat there guiltily.
-
He sighed. "Alright. I understand if you don't wanna talk about it. Ah, how has your day been?"
-
"It was alright, I suppose."
-
He shook his head sadly. "I guess I'll go then." He started to stand up while looking at her skeptically.
-
She cried silently, curling up. She didn't ask for help, and instead just wept to herself.
-
He stopped, turned to her, sat down next to her and pulled her in for a hug. "Shhhh... Everything's gonna be alright..." https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4N3N1MlvVc4
-
She cried into his shoulder, hugging onto him tightly. "I'm s-sorry.." She sobbed.
-
"Don't be... Its fine..." He kissed the top of her head and wiped away some of her tears. "Look at, me Sally."
-
She looked up at him slowly, wiping her eyes.
-
"It's okay, Sally. You didn't do anything wrong." It hurt him to see her like this, and he felt a deep sense of regret, but he didn't know why. He smiled a sad smile, and pulled her close to him.
-
She nuzzled against him.
-
He started to drift into sleep, considering he had woken up in the middle of the night.
-
She fell asleep as well.
