"Actually, that is literally the theme. I lose you. In every nightmare I've had since we've started dating. Some take place in a parallel universe. Others are too personalized and unlikely to happen. More often than not, it's glimpses into other realities. And to know that nightmare actually happen to a version of us... is traumatizing," She says.

"Wait, so I've died in a bunch o' other timelines? Well, there goes my self esteem." He jokes, attempting to lighten the mood.
Including this one
"Well... sometimes I die in these timelines. My least favorite recurring nightmare that happened in a certain timeline is one in which Pox comes back and either permanently kills me, you, or both of us," She mutters.
-
Fionn winces at that thought. "Oi... Pox wouldn't do that. An' if she did try, she wouldn't be able ta beat us. She wasn't that tough."
You just gave me an amazing idea for a future post....
"It's actually quite possible."
That's why I've been so hesitant. I've had this thought in my head for days.
He shakes his head. "I'd rather naw think about that. Too much nightmare fuel." "You should tell her about yours, Fionn. You've kept it bottled up for long enough." Wisp says.
-
"Yes... I've told you my worst... you owe me the favor."
-
He sighs. "Fine. You wan ta know my nightmares? I have to relive my bloo'y life every bloo'y night." He growls. "Every minute o' it."
-
"That's horrible..." She said.
-
He squeezes his eyes shut. "You have no idea..."
-
"That’s.... okay I've seen some pretty horrifying stuff. I've been stuck on the Dreadnaught 15 years before, and wizards purposely taunted me, gave me nightmares that would've droven in their right mind insane, but you have it worse. That's impossible. Unless the wizards are purposely doing this to make our lives more miserable."
-
"You 'avent seen the stuff I've been through. You barely saw one glimpse." He mutters.
-
"One glimpse?!? How are you still sane?"
-
"Who says I am?" He asks.
-
"I'm sorry... did I cross the line?" She asked, tears in her eyes.
-
He shakes his head. "No... You would 'ave found out eventually."
-
"I'm sorry, Fionn..." Sarah cried.
-
He holds her close, gently stroking her hair. "You 'ave nothing to apologize for."
-
"Finny, I'm afraid..." She stutters.
-
"Why? What are you afraid of?" He asks, brow furrowed.
-
"Losing you," She said.
-
"Then don' be. I ain't goin anywhere. Ever." He tells her, kissing the top of her head.
-
"The grief would kill me if you did," She said in a grim tone.
-
"Well I ain't leavin, so there's no need ta worry 'bout it. I wouldn't survive losing you either, Sarah." He replies.
-
She grabs his hand gently.
