Chapter One - The Arrival
The cosmos.
Deep, endless and yet, filled with anomalies, stars and worlds that span across it's vast depths for billions and billions of light years. The darkness of space remained still and motionless, it's dark vacuum faintly gleaming with the occasional star within it's depths.
Before a rift appeared.
The rift began with a sudden BOOM!, which sounded across the planets near the opening rift - including Tatakai. The anomaly began to widen, as an endless pit of darkness opened within the vacuum of space. And out of it, a gargantuan ship of tangled metal, massive thrusters propelling it out of the wormhole as the dreadnaught exited the hole within reality quickly. It's deep hum was restless and continuous within space, as the ship began to direct it's course straight towards the world of Tatakai.
And somewhere aboard the dreadnaught was the Boundless One. The Slave Without Chains. The Machine God.
Althreath.

Tatakoi Plains, 6:30 PM
"Come on, come on-"
"We need to move, now-"
"Wake up, wake up-"
"ARIANNA!"
Arianna suddenly woke with a jolt of movement, as a slight yell escaped her mouth. She looked around in a flurry of movements - before resting her eyes upon her dæmon, Achreíos, who was nudging her left arm furiously.
If one could describe Arianna, you could assume almost immediately that she was the traveling type, even at her young age. The young woman was about eighteen or nineteen, judging from her appearance, while her overall height was six feet and three inches tall. A lavish grey overcoat was cast over her thin, yet athletic body, while a black buttoned shirt was underneath that. The dress pants that she wore were covered in dirt, although she didn't care too much, as she began to strap on her leather boots and gloves onto her feet and hands. Her skin was a pale color, her eyes a light blue color. After applying her huntress bandana over her mouth and the tattered tri-corne hat that she was familiar with, alongside grabbing her gear which was stuffed within a large duffel bag, she stumbled out of her small tent, and into the field that she and her dæmon had settled upon.
To describe Achreíos in particular...well, his biography will be available shortly, to explain what a dæmon truly is. He was merely a twenty-four inch long pine marten, a type of mammal usually found within Europe and Asia. His red-gold fur gleamed in the last remnants of sunlight, his light blue eyes flickering with the same curiosity that was within Arianna's.
The twenty-four inch long pine marten exited the tent after his human, as she only stared up at the sky. Blotting out the sun was a massive triangular ship, it's thick shape beginning to blur as if didn't even fully exist in reality. Hundreds of orb-like beings began to appear within the skies of Tatakai, as Achreíos only yelled to Arianna as he found himself upon her shoulder.
"The Dojo, Arianna! They'll be capable of destroying him!" He squeaked, before descending into her grey coat's pocket as she began to run straight towards the Dojo.
She wouldn't make it in time on her own.

Dojoville
The magnifying sounds of gunfire and steel clashing against steel rang throughout the city of Dojoville, as massive orb-like machines began to tear throughout the skies, ripping through space and time as they proceeded to deploy hundreds - maybe thousands - of robotic beings, each wielding either fully automatic ballistic-firing guns or vibrant blue energy bows. They only appeared to keep arriving, as to finish the invading force-
A behemoth of a creature slammed down, before crawling from the rubble of the home it had fallen into.
The twenty-five foot tall monstrosity of metal rose as dust fell from it's jagged body, letting out a roar of murderous intention as a deep blue shield covered it's body. It's hulking body consisted of titanium and magnesium, as it began to tear it's way throughout the city of Dojoville. The members of the Dojo had to react, and quickly - before the Titan and it's forces tore through everything in their wake.
((All three are open, but please mention which post you will reply to.))
((The power of these characters/enemies will match your character's power - however, they will be powerful compared to yours no matter what. This isn't a plot that you can just tear your way through like some goddamn Dark Souls game, hue hue.))

Altar turned and ran for a hole in the side of the building, leaping out and landing on a nearby roof.
-
The remainder of the building crashed upon Althreath- "Hahahahaha!" No...it didn't crash upon him. The building's crumbling remains floated above him, before he pressed his hands down upon a slight bit. The building suddenly crumbled into nothingness, as he only turned towards Altar. "Your resistance is futile, Altar. Surrender, and I will personally ensure that you leave Tatakai unharmed."
-
I don't know why, but I want to do a non-canon PM where she does surrender just to see what happens.
"Clearly you aren't familiar with how we work around here." She flew backwards and summoned five magic circles that began shooting spectral spears at him.
-
...Wouldn't be good. Keep fighting.
Althreath simply waved his metallic hand, as waves of dark matter met the spears, both forms of magic clashing and dissipating each other immediately. "YOUR THEATRICS WILL NOT SAVE YOU. YOUR MAGIC IS USELESS AGAINST ME."
-
"And he can do that, great." She landed on a building and began shooting chunks of it at him.
-
"YOU ARE GOING TO DIE HERE. SURRENDER!" Althreath hacked his way through the chunks, before- -He appeared above Altar, swinging down.
-
She barely managed to roll out of the way and flew above him. Suddenly, tiny balls of light began falling near him. After they had gathered on the ground they erupted in a mighty explosion.
-
Althreath was engulfed by the explosions, as a roar escaped his metallic jaw as they covered his entire body. Seconds passed, before the metallic front rose from the ash and such left behind. "...Clever. But not enough...TO SUBDUE ME."
-
She frowned. "Well, you certainly live up to your own hype."
-
Edited by Orn: 3/12/2017 8:42:23 PM"I suppose that I do," He chuckled, before turning back. "...Of course..." Althreath suddenly dissipated - as his ship came crashing down upon Tatakai, into the nearby desert. The sound of metal screeching against earth was heard, yet was muffled by the ongoing battle. When this transmission was suddenly heard, in the heat of the battle: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/223195977/0/0/1
-
"Stormbringer eh? Alright then." She flew towards the desert searching for the weapon or anything else to help repel Althreath's invasion.
-
"Running On our way, hiding You will pay dying One thousand deaths." The Marshal stood in the centre of Dojoville with a grin on his face. He hadn't given a damn for the people here, they were just a profit to him, ungrateful b*stards who couldn't fight for themselves. But still, he would defend them, for two reasons: One, this was his home turf, and two, the Cowboy knew exactly who was on the assault. So he had told his friend Carlos at the Dojo's clinic to text one "Meredith" on his phone a recording of the assault in process, and ran out the door moments after. Treyman stood beside JT, clad in his Legate's Armour of the Hunters Legion - Though with the Trolls Steel armour chestplate and Griffin Skin boots from the Void Wolves and Sigmar on the Alamo. His body was covered by a tiger-striped cloak, and his face obscured by his typical mask. In the skies above, NTR Sparrowhawks and the enemy ships were engaged in combat. Altreath's forces were a powerful force to fight, though the Republic had creativity and numbers as well as strength that could rival Altreath's, so they could help hold them off in a bloody conflict above for the time being without introducing the currently cloaked NTR Inquisitor or it's pair of Alamo's that covered the east and west sides of the ship from harm. Both the Cowboy and the Riftwalker raised their guns and fired. JT took shots with his Champions' Rifle, and Treyman silently shot from his Ranger Sequoia, ass opposed to JT singing Metallica's "Seek N' Destroy."
-
The dreadnaught from above silently flew above the planet endlessly, as thousands of Warminds and jagged black ships, remotely controlled by Minds within the warship, proceeded to exit the depths of the ship and began to engage the Sparrowhawks and other forces. A deep purple shield began to engulf the ship as the first wave exited, thousands of Althreath's controlled ships opening fire upon the NTR's. As for JT and Treyman - they began to cut down the hordes of Death-Dealers and War Machines, basic units of the Machine God's forces - except that they had begun to retaliate with full force. Bolts of energy and gunfire rained down upon the two soldiers, and would've cut them down if they didn't get moving quickly. In the background, the Titan leading the assault was currently battling a man with an RPG and Sapphire, roars and screeches escaping it's metallic body as it continued to attack. --------------------------- Somewhere...Meredith had received the text. And she was certainly trying her best to get to Tatakai in time.
-
What Altreath's men had in numbers, the NTR possessed in raw skill: For every one Republic pilot that fell, there were three of Altreath's robots that blew up. The NTR Crusader aimed its guns to the ground, firing at the streets of enemies with their 205mm cannons. JT found himself digging into a café in the city's longest, largest street, where he took potshots. Treyman had grabbed his AntiMatter sniper, which he used to expertly pick off targets from a distance.

Edited by Orn: 3/12/2017 5:19:09 AMAs the Warminds detected the incoming barrages, they ironically began to form shielding above Dojoville - distracting them yet protecting the city. Oddly, it was as if they didn't want to destroy the Dojo.. Althreath's dreadnaught began to unleash hell upon the NTR Crusader, anchors and bolts of orange energy flying towards it. The anchors were propelled by thrusters attached to them, their chains thick and sturdy as they began to fly towards the Crusader. The troops on the ground began to retaliate to JT and Treyman, seeking cover and returning fire on their locations. The Titan was fighting against Steel in the back.. When suddenly, this came onto the two's comms.
-
The Crusader was built for war - A ten-mile long battleship, with thousands of personnel onboard and an even larger WMD attached to the bottom; Worldshatterer. It lined up Altreath's forces, charged a shot for about ten seconds, and fired at the dreadnought, and a beam of pure plasma the size of a two-mile Alamo crashed into Altreath's dreadnought.
-
As Worldshatterer was being powered... Althreath appeared at the spot where the beam's center would hit and certainly decimate his ship. He tore a hole within the dreadnaught to see what he was up against, a smirk played upon his metallic face as the time reached five seconds. Four. Three. Two. One. As the beam fired, a massive vortex suddenly opened, pulling in both the beam, Althreath's own troops and the NTR, the miniature black hole letting out a terrible screech as it began to pull in both forces. The dreadnaught and Crusader, ironically...weren't pulled in. As if something was stabilizing both, really.
-
Something was sketchy, so the Crusader's beam of pure plasma and energy de-activated. Treyman looked on at the forces in the skies, as he fired at them with his antimatter assault rifle to hopefully make some holes in Altreath's defences.
-
Edited by Orn: 3/12/2017 4:45:17 PMAs the Crusader's beam began to deactivate, the base of the dreadnaught began to churn with black energy, as if it's own beam was beginning to charge- Before everything went absolutely haywire. Althreath's ship suddenly flickered, before the entire thing went offline - lights, weaponry, everything - as it began to fall towards Tatakai.. "-shit, this is fuzzy- Hello?! Is this the New Terran Republic? Can I speak to JT? Or Treyman?!" Meredith's voice rang through the communication systems, attempting to establish contact..
-
Grand Legate Treyman was the first to pick up the signal, but soon forwarded it to JT. JT: "Bill's Crematorium, you kill 'em we grill 'em, this is Eight Ball speaking."
-
"Yeah, I got a couple of dead folks that I need- Oh, JT! Sorry, thought you were someone else." In typical Meredith fashion, the synthetic woman continued the joke, before addressing the problem at hand. "Seriously now - Althreath's ship is about to crash into the Bisexual Desert - it's called Byroki or some shit, I dunno. You guys could probably head down 'n clean up - Revenants will be here any moment now..."
-
"Bisexual Desert? N*gga say no more," JT said before stealing a civilian's car, getting Treymsn, and driving to the Desert.
-
Not too sure who to use here....
There was an audible boom inthe air as a brazen Jumpship skidded into the air near her, slowing rapidly. It partially landed close to her, the hatch door in the back opening. On the platform stood Quincy in his Forerunner/Vex armor, his helmet on. The red eye gleamed and shone, unlike the rest of the armor which looked battered and worn. His fingertips showed from his gloves, a modified SPNKR rocket launcher strapped to his back. "Need a ride?" he asked, his helmet projecting his voice. She wouldnt know it but he sounded..older. (Furture Q from a different RP has entered the fray)
-
"Yes, yes we do!" Arianna yelled out to the futuristic Quincy, as her dæmon suddenly wrapped himself upon her right arm, as she brought him up to her breast to keep him stabilized. She didn't appear to know Quincy, although the voice, physique and garb...they were oddly familiar.
