Regarding the various challenges...

With the revamped raids after that live stream, I wanted to remind people of what exactly are the old challenges: VOG: Templar challenge- use the pillars of light duringthe first damage phase to prevent the Templar from teleworking and regaining his shields. Be aware minotaurs come out to wreck havok. Atheon challenge- Never had an actual challenge Y1 due to bug issues where they increased the drop rates in a patch as I recall. The original challenge though for Raiders on hard was flawless with lvl 29's (if you aren't chuckling right now... Shame on you.) Crotas End featured no challenges in expansion 1. Kings Fall: Warpriest challenge- No one person can have brand twice. Golgoroth challenge- During each damage phase, all guardians MUST hold golgoroth gaze once. Oryx challenge- Detonate 16 orbs in a single damage phase. WotM: Vosik challenge- During damage phase, grab the bombs which fall and use them on the doors. 3 damage rounds only required for completion. Siege engine- No challenge. Aksis- During teleworking phase, burn your empowered on the lit platform and slam another empowered into aksis. Must be done for each time he teleports. Let's have some fun also with this thread. What challenges will be there for CE and Vog?

  • Ok, another idea came up: CE: Abyss run- At the initial bridge formation? Doors are there and will remain closed until a certain enemy or amount of enemies has been eliminated. Bridge- The bridge, once formed, cannot be stopped for any reason. Ir yut- upon song activation, guardians must trigger both towers with two majors in them before ir yut falls. Towers will automatically trigger once the enemies are dead. One enemy is on top, the other is on the ground floor. Crota himself- crota must be damaged each time he shifts. From center, to wherever constitutes one switch. I just tested this solo and it is doable with the right titan solar build as well as teamwork to keep the towers non occupied as much as possible.

  • Ok. I guess I'll kick off this thread. Vault of glass- atheon fight. I think a good challenge mode would be that before atheon teleports players again, all enemies must be cleared from the field. Another possibility is relic user inside the past/future must change players hands. This would force teams to put dps one moment and coordinate till the shield strategy could be used. Crota's End Abyss- kill x amount of enemies at each lamp. 6 guardians... hand cannons... auto rifles... I'll say 24. Four each. Would be really easy with TLW alone honestly. Bridge... as a fireteam... eliminate major enemies with all guardians putting one shot into each. Better bring your sniper rifles... Crota.... actually? Beat Crota without making him take a knee via heavy weapon. Lol. /s Warlock grenades will be really useful... I'll make this easy. The sword bearer knight underneath the main activation chamber? He has to die every other time you damage crota.
