Time for Poll of the Week!
---
What's your term for a soft drink for what region you live in? Do you call it something else than what everyone else says?
Soda, Pop, Coke, other?
For those that don't know, the term "coke" doesn't refer to Coca-cola or Pepsi-cola— it actually is used for the overall term "soft drink" in areas.
Up above is the US map of such used terms.

As always. Sound off!

Edited by Auttumnnnn: 3/18/2017 10:07:51 PMI live in southern Alabama and I've always used "soda" when trying to be general. But I haven't used the word soda many times. I typically will just say "drink" or whatever the name of the brand is.

Edited by shell: 3/17/2017 5:43:42 PMIt annoys and confuses me when people say Coke to refer soft drinks. Dr. Pepper isn't Coke, damn it!
I just say the name of the drink. Kind of pointless to tell the cashier or waitress you want some soda.
-
I say the actual name of the drink, or sometimes "sodapop".
-
I prefer peepsi...
