"Let's just ignore that armour than... How about that white set??"
-
"I don't see why not. The armor is one of the last things you get though, it's the final sign of becoming a Mandalorian."
-
"Of course. So what's the in-between?"
-
"Well, you'll have to learn the political structure, the clan system, the language, etc."
-
"Political structure? Well isn't that what the mask stands for?"
-
Cannon spends the next few hours explaining Mandalorian clan structures to Nathaniel.
-
At the end of all of it, Nathaniel rose to his feet and stretched "Damn"
-
"It's a lot to take in, I know. There's no tine limit though, so there's no rush to learn." Cannon tells him.
-
"It's almost dark, let's move on to step three shall we?"
-
"Alright. Actually, how about we call it a day. I'll meet you here again tomorrow and we can start teaching you Mando'a." Cannon offers.
-
"Yeah... That works too. I need the sleep I'm assuming?"
-
"Both of us do. Plus I haven't seen my wife much since I got back, and I'd like to spend some time with her and my daughter."
-
"You have a daughter???"
-
"Extremely long story, but yes. Her name is Tracinya, or Traci for short." Cannon says, smiling a bit.
-
"Huh... Nice name. I'll see you tomorrow."
-
Cannom nods. "See you tomorrow, ner vod." He turns to leave.
Timeskip?
timeskip several weeks later Nathaniel, clad in a tear resistant grayish blue flighrsuit, boards a Mando transport along with Cannon and another Mando in black and white armor known as Shames.
-
Nathaniel shifted slightly, looking almost uncomfortable in the outfit
-
"You alright?" Cannon asks him.
-
"A bit Nervous is all.
-
"Don't be. You'll be fine." Cannon pats his shoulder reassuringly.
-
"Vor'e. Did I say that right?"
-
"You're practically a native already." Cannon grins. The man in skeletal armor turns to him. "Alright lad, we're almost to the Dxun hunting grounds. I'll go over the rules of the hunt again."
-
"Yeah, gedet'ye vaabir." Nathaniel turned to face the man in skeletal armor
