"Yes. The guy I'm cloned from. Jango lead the True Mandalorians tl nearly destroy the Deathwatch, until Galidraan."
-
"Always with the buts..."
-
"Jango got word that the Deathwatch was killing innocents, so he rushed there to find them. It was a trap. The Deathwatch had franed him and called the Jedi, blaming the deaths on Jango's band."
-
"Surely the Jedi did not believe them."
-
"The Jedi wanted to believe them. So they slaughtered Jangos men. He was the only survivor. The Jedi handed him over to the locals, who stripped him of his armor and sold him as a slave. He eventually escaped, reclaimed his armor, and hunted down Vizla, whom he beat to death."
-
"And he went on to become a bounty Hunter, using his genes as a template for clones."
-
"Yeah, and Tor's son Pre became the head of the Deathwatch and ended up overthrowing the New Mandalorian pacifists."
-
"Interesting... And what happened once he did that?"
-
"A man named Maul killed him, and the Deathwatch collapsed as the Republic declared marshall law. The Mandos united under a clone known as Spar and tried to fight, but they failed and Spar dissapeared. So they united under the one man who was left with authority. Fenn Shysa."
-
"Who is he? "
-
"The current Mand'alore. He decided it was about time we stopped fighting other people's wars and started fixing our own home world. That started with driving the Empire back, then the varies Cartels."
-
"So he's the man behind you guys? Helped take down the empire?"
-
"Yeah, he decided to make a general rule to recall all Mandalorians back to Mandalore and rebuild. We've even started to terraform the deserts.
-
"Huh.... Nice history. Shame how much war has been seen."
-
"Yeah, that's why Shysa pushed the Empire back. No more enemies, no more wars."
-
"Is that the history? Most of it at least."
-
"More or less. Now we're in more than one dimension and timestream, but that's still in development."
-
"That's the basics covered. What comes after?"
-
"Well, wjat would you like to learn first?"
-
"You're the vet here, what's the most important?"
-
The language probably, since it's the hardest to learn.
-
"Well I'm sure I'll learn it with time. Can't learn it all in five minutes can I?"
-
"True. I can already tell you'll fit in great with the clan." Cannon tells him.
-
"Thank you, Cannon. That means a lot..."
-
"Now I just hope you aren't a lightweight, because just about everyone in the clan's going to try and buy you a drink." He jokes, patting Nathaniel's back.
