"I'd hope so, personally. From the Legion's reports, well...the Dojo obviously possesses extreme beings, most with terrible records. Murder, crimes that happen to spread across worlds, and...well, viciousness in general. I'd hope that the riots would be kept maintained.
...Ironic. An enemy cares for your city." Luana faintly snickered to herself.

"The darkness that surrounds the dojo is a terrible one. It's past surrounded with death, anger and pain. Gods and Devils playing with the lives of warriors, killing hundreds, thousands, for more in their ranks. Only to die again serving the broken gods that rule. This world is not maintained. It is watched and toyed with."

Luana was silent for a moment, as she stared into the depths of her coffee. After a minute, she rose up from the table, her dark blue eyes looking...glassy. "...I'll be back. Just...it's difficult to explain." She turned away, leaving the café and only standing outside. For a minute, Luana only stood still in a single spot, her eyes closed as a look of sadness crossed her face. What Iskandar said had brought up a conflict of hers, it seemed.
-
Iskandar remained seated, not wanting to interrupt whatever she was going through. He took a sip of cappuccino, awaiting her return
-
Soon, Luana returned and sat down, drinking from her coffee. "Sorry for making this awkward. Just thought of something, and had to...be alone for minute or two."
-
"Quite alright, Luana. Emotions are natural of life." Had he called her by her name? It couldn't be... Could it?
-
"...You...called me by my first name." Luana looked up at Iskandar in a somewhat happier manner. He bothered to call her by her real name? More importantly - he knew her real name?
-
"Hmm? Ah yes... I would not take it to heart Legion blade." He quickly changed back, while sipping some of his coffee
-
"Aww. The big bad Conqueror doesn't want to look emotional." Luana joked - at this point, she wasn't trying to get under his skin. She wanted to find out why he bothered calling her by her real name - she called him by his only out of respect.
-
"Emotional? I am only emotional when it Comes to taking the lands of my foes!
-
"Pfft. Quit getting so hot-blooded, people are looking at us! And think about it - lil' awkward for the First Blade and the Conqueror having a cup of coffee together, isn't it? Heh."
-
He quieted down, and grinned widely "Awkward? I do not know the meaning of the word."
-
"...Oh dear, I've set him off." Luana joked, leaning back. "But seriously, why'd you call me by my real name suddenly?"
-
"It was to signify the importance of what i had said. All people are open to emotions. Many do not realize this however."
-
"...Guess I'm one of those many. Sorry." Luana shrugged, drinking the rest of her coffee.
-
"It is rarely the person's fault. Many times, they are simply blinded to emotion."
-
Luana didn't respond this time. She was clearly more intent on listening to Iskandar than anything, to say the least.
-
"In my eyes, the world is full of kings and queens who blind your eyes and steal your dreams. That is why I do not rule my people. I allow them to rule themselves. I simply utilize them, while giving the freedoms they deserve."
-
Luana closed her eyes at this point and tried to remain calm. From the looks of her expression, she wanted to burst out - even yell and scream, but not in a negative way.
-
Iskandar hadn't noticed, and simply continued speaking "Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation. Their lives are mimicries of others, or they are designed by gods to fit sick views of what a warrior is. What they should be. Emotions are facades, but they are the most genuine."
-
"...Look, can I say something important...in a place that's more private? Like a home, or...something? I need to vent out. And to be completely honest, you're the only person that I can vent out to. The only person that would have a chance of understanding my...case."
-
Iskandar nodded understandingly and rose up to his feet "Come. You may accompany me to my home."
-
"Very well." Luana rose up, following Iskandar to wherever his home would be.
-
He lead her to a two story brick building with double castle like doors marking the entrance. He opened the doors and entered the home into a large castle like dining room with a fireplace.
-
"How do I explain this..." Nervously, Luana checked every window and suspiciously looked around as the two entered Iskandar's home, a bead of sweat running down the side of her face as she pocketed her hands. As they entered the home, she pulled Iskandar to look at her, as her dark blue eyes met his. They were...glassy. So serene and beautiful, but looking as if she would shatter and cry any second. "It's...it's about Gilgalad. About what I'm doing. With my life, as the First Blade. At this rate...I don't know." She broke away, sighing before she continued. "What am I doing as the First Blade? I feel as though I'm just clearing out the way for Gilgalad to step through, eventually crushing me so he can become the fantasy that he wishes to be: a king who rules everything and all, in some twisted form of existence. I saw his cause as justifiable - reasonable, even, until now: he leads his armies through the towns of the innocent in other realms, slashing down any who appose him in a flash of shining steel. He ravages entire lands, and for what purpose? Loot, intimidation? No. So he can "claim" them, as their "King". At this rate, I don't know what I should do. Accept that fate of servitude, rebel and die, or even leave the Legion altogether - whatever happens, I know that I can't bring myself to leading an assault on the Dojo at this rate. I just...just couldn't." At this rate, Luana had finished her rant at a table, sighing and closing her eyes. "...I hope that you'd understand. Blackmail or betray me if you want, but...I can't do this forever."
-
He placed a heavy hand on her shoulder, staring at her face "Giligald, like all, is not Immortal. He is not God. Defeating him may be difficult, but it is possible. I will assist you in this endeavor for as long as you require."
