Prologue: Haknir's crew
4 pm
Dojo courtyard A1
All over the courtyard and on the wall of the dojo were bright green flyers. Some were on the ground from being blown away (probably purposely). They seemed to be everywhere, on them was an advertisement of sorts. On each one, it read:
"Attention members of the dojo. Looking for some extra work with great pay? Join Haknir and go on his voyage across the ocean on the hunt for treasure! It's a free trip and you'll get to fight some other pirates if you'd like! Go see Haknir at the dock if you're interested."
------------------------------------------
At the docks
Haknir lounged in a fold out chair with his feet propped up on a small wooden box. He sat with a cup of coffee and sipped on it as he waited for people to show up. Next to him was his ship with some of Sandello's men walking around on it.
--------------------------------------------
Out on the ocean, the pirates were stirring, raising more ships than usual, and fearlessly. Something had them riled up and they were going the extra mile to get all the loot possible. While this happened, certain crews didn't attack each other. It was obvious they were working together, but know one could know what for.

"Ohoho! Come along faster, my sister - for adventure is within our future!" "Shut up, Olythran.." A young woman muttered, clutching her caged steel helmet as she ran after her taller twin brother, his massive, muscular frame and armor almost concealing her from view. The duo were Olythran and Octavia - two knights from a distant realm. Olythran smiled as he saw Haknir, his face strong and complemented with a shaven beard. His lime green eyes scanned the pirate, as he clutched his own helmet and poleaxe tightly. Oly: "Aha! You are Haknir, yes?"
-
"Indeed I am." Haknir stood up and looked at the two of them. "You two here to sail with me?"
-
mulligan approaches you I suppose I could use a little refresher from my old days.........count me in
-
"Alright. Hope you're good with islands, 'cause that's where we're headed." Hak handed him a map with a path that led out to an unmarked location at sea.
-
Fair enough...when do we depart? i open a small black-purple portal and set the map in it, shortly after closing the portal
-
"We should be setting sail by tomorrow."
-
Good by me, jut call for me, I'll be there
so pm me when it starts
A Storm Jackal approached Haknir, wondering what was going on. His armor was painted a tan color, and seemed to be integrated with rags and a scarf, making him appear more urban. The curious Kig-yar loooed at the boat, and then at Haknir.
-
Haknir looked back at him. "You come here for the voyage?"
-
"I am interested, that is true..What will we be doing?" he asked in a rather squawky voice, sounding kind of like a parrot.
-
"We're going out looking for treasure. There are some islands we'll land at. Here." Haknir handed him a map with a path to the middle of nowhere in the ocean.
-
Doc decides to join, he walks up to the man. "Hey, I hear your looking for people to join, still got room for one more?"
-
"Ah yes, we always have room for one more! You just need to be able to fight and survive in some harsh conditions."
-
"What kind of conditions are we talking about?"
-
"Mostly island survival, if it comes to that."
-
"Sounds easy enoigh, count me in."
-
A young woman approaches him. "I hear you need some help with an adventure."
-
"Yes I do. You care to join me? It will pay well."
-
"Well I do like a good payday, what are the details?"
-
Haknir handed her a map with an unmarked location on it at sea. "There's some small islands here where I've found pirates lurking around. There seems to be quite a bit of treasure stored up there."
-
She smiled with interest. "That's a venture I can get behind. The name's Altar by the way."
-
"Haknir. Nice to meet you. We'll be off soon enough, just waiting for a few more people."
-
She nods. "I'll be around, is there a certain time we're leaving or are we waiting however long it takes?"
-
"We'll wait as long as needed which shouldn't be very long."
