The Deimos jumped itself out of the relay, its presence being known to many of the turian cruisers defending the relay area.
"Deimos, define specific designation and reasoning or you WILL be shot down." Said the turian official where a turian dreadnought was.
"Alliance personnel, arriving in the Citadel for shore leave. Best suggestion is to put your guns down, boys." Vel said over the comms.
After a bit of waiting, the turian responded with, "Sorry about that, Operative Stoik. Enjoy your stay here at the Citadel."
The Citadel was within view of where Ghost would've been.

"Operative? I didn't realize you were one..." Ghost looked over at her, grinning. The rest of the Invictus crew was we who knows where, save for Scorch who stood behind Ghost
You didn't mention in the post so are they here or nah?
-
Thought it was up to you whether they were here or not. I'd say yes, but again, up to you.
"Well, the Alliance decided that they'd make me an operative after I helped Merrick and all on Shira XV and in the Dojo. Isn't the Citadel beautiful?" She asks.
-
"Yeah... Quite the site..." Scorch: 'Eh, I've seen better" Ghost: "As a guardian of a broken earth, i doubt that." Scorch: "Wow..."
-
"Got our docking number. E31, I believe she said. You know, Merrick and Silsia had an apartment he allowed us to stay on while we're here. On Legion Ward, I think he said." Vel had said, as the Deimos began making its way to one of the five Citadel wings.
-
"They simply have one ready on the side? Interesting..."
-
"It was gonna be their honeymoon suite when they eventually do decide to go ahead and marry each other...which I know is bound to happen." Vel replied, a smile on her face as the Deimos passed by an almost city like place, bustling with Kodiaks and fighters from all over the Galaxy.
-
Scorch: "How painfully cliche..." Ghost: "Still sweet."
-
"Yeah...knowing them thoguht, they'd rather die together than be separated for some reason other than because of some situation or some plain fun with friends." Vel had griy said, as they passed by a familiar looking Alliance ship...
1. Foreshadowing two things at once 2. You can guess what the ship is...
-
NORMANDYYYYYY
Ghost peered out the window, examining the ship closer
-
In bold letters on the side of the ship, the words NORMANDY could be seen clearly on it, as it was somewhat being heavily repaired. Closer inspection showed upgraded armor, technology, and the Alliance symbol proudly displayed on the ship.
-
Ghost: "Quite the vessel that Normandy. Even though it isn't the original."
-
"Yeah. Heard their old pilot and the AI still are there. Strange couple, they seem to be. A guy with Vrolik's Syndrome and a female AI..." Vel had said, as they had landed in their own hangar.
-
Scorch: "Wait... Couple?" The Hunter snorted, laughing slightly
-
"What? It's just an AI and some guy with brittle bones together. Not like she's going to probe him or something." She responds, trying to stifle her own laugh.
-
Ghost: "You two are so rude..." Scorch: "You can't deny it's not weird..." Ghost: "Well... Maybe just a little."
-
They had gotten off the Deimos, the sight of different species mingling being clearly prominent within the area, whether it was an arguing elcor couple, or a bunch of humans, turian's, and asari all having a drink while the ANN (Alliance News Network) was on, rambling about the recent events that had gone on.
-
Ghost took a listen on the news. Listening for any previous jobs he had taken part in.
-Report the Blackwatch teams seizing a Eclipse ship with assistance from the Invictus -Report Capture of Cheryl Minx with help of Invictus -Report forged alliance between Batarians and Alliance due to Invictus crew - REPORT SOMETHING ELSE?? Not a game changing choice. More of a side thing
-
Gotcha.
A male reporter was there, saying..."And recently, in the news, the Laliance seems to be completely after the newly revitalized Cerberus, which had involved defending both Demeter and Horizon from further attacks. As well, Alliance and mercenary operatives are to thank to stop a Batarian attack on the human colony of Terra Nova (the humans cheered at that statement), although the Alliance wishes to keep those involved private until further notice. Stay tuned for further updates." It then went to a commercial for Blasto 15: Blasto Saves the Council.
-
Ghost: "You hear that, Scorch? People actually care about the Mercs that fight for them." Scorch: "They cheered. How much does that mean?"
+5 Ghost Confidence. Confidence are stats that obtainable by either Ghost or Noble. The one with more Confidence will ultimately be the one calling the shots for the crew (Which will expand, much like yours) further down in the plot
-
"A lot. Mercs rarely help the Alliance, much less save people at THAT level" Vel had replied, looking at the people.
-
Scorch: "Huh... We're Mercs?" Ghost: "The good kind. With a code. But yeah, down to the foundation we're Mercs."
-
"Yeah. Come on; we'll have to go down to the Wards to get to the apartment." She says, motioning them toward a shuttle they could take.
-
Scorch: "Yes ma'am..." The two entered the shuttle she had gestured at.
-
*The shuttle proceeded to make its way out of the Presidium and began to head deep into Legion Ward, hundreds of other shuttles passing by them. Casinos, markets, and shops lined the Citadel's Wards as they made their way there.*
-
Ghost: "What if someone recognizes us, tries getting an autograph?" Scorch: "No one's seen us on camera yet. I'd like it to stay that way Too..." Ghost: "Why's that?" Scorch: "Boss, we're a Merc crew. At some point, we'll take a job that may just be in the Grey area. When that happens, you'll see what people really think."
