Within the next few minutes, every hanar was dead...well, minus the one who was in cover, who proceeded to charge out before being shot by an entire thermal clip's worth of ammo. While the commandos cleaned up the place, checking for any injuries, the feminine voice, which was discovered to be an asari (minus the glowing eyes) who proceeded to walk up to JT and Shila.
"I'm taking it you're from Tatakai, correct?" She asks.

"Shila, I think we found our employer."
-
"And I seem to have gotten JT. Cowboy with an attraction for vice, young, yet somehow could kill krogan with a couple bullets...most likely faced tougher people in the past. And Shila, young warrior of the Hongon Clan on Shira XV and is one of two daughters to one of their generals. Interesting team-up...then again, I had to do the same once." The 'Shadow Broker' had said, looking further into JT. "I have access to information from multiple dimensions and universes, you know. Nice to see you haven't died yet." The asari responds, Shila simply looking quiet, yet shocked at this info dump.
-
"Well thank fûck, I'm alright with any employer, but the ones who do interdimensional digging are the best."
-
This includes other RP's by the way.
"Let's see." She says, motioning JT and Shila to follow her into the the war torn Nos Astra spaceport.
-
Mate JT's been to more threads than the average new RPer has seen.
"So - What's the job?"
-
It isn't just you JT...it's everyone, technically.
"See how many versions of you I've been able to track...and if you're as good as what my informants usually tell me." She explains.
-
"Mate drop the cryptic shit and just give me a debriefing."
-
"Charming, you are. So...those jellyfish you just shot? They're part of a hanar territorial group called the Blastos...based on the movies under the same name...featuring a hanar protagonist who does the same. Anyways, they seemed to be radical believers who follow a false Blasto, another hanar by the name of Cal'shin. He's prepping to send the entire terrorist group here to kill everyone, so...I want you to kill him. With me. And Shila." The asari replied.
-
"What's the pay? You know my pay trinity?"
-
"How does a million credits and a favor from me in return sound?" She asks somewhat seductively.
-
"Good by me. Where's the target at?"
-
"He's coming in a few days time. He's tried to send scouts to weaken our little group we have here; they didn't work of course, but we still took casualties..." she had replied, motioning them to the view of the sprawling city, floating Kodiaks and cars in the distance.
-
"Do we have any clue of exactly how big his forces are? What kind of firepower they pack?"
-
Literally what you just saw there multiplied by a couple hundred. Then add the fact that he has a giant meh SPECIFICALLY for him, and..." The asari didn't even need to finish there.
-
"That's all? No spacecraft?"
-
"There's gonna be a few gunships...with mini guns...beyond that, nothing else, really." She responds.
-
"Okay. Do you guys have any rocket launchers or do I get to use my grappling hook, grenade launcher and some creativity?"
-
"That's up to you, cowboy. Rocket launchers are in the back." The Asari told them, showing them some M-77 Rocket Launchers loaded up in the back of the docking bay.
-
JT took one of the rocket launchers, pointing it away from himself and at the roof with a smirk. "Am I the only one with 'Rocket Man' by Elton John in their head now?"
-
"I believe so, my master." Shila replied, before the 'Shadow Broker' interjected with, "I'd say it'd remind me of "Space Oddity" by David Bowie... because it's what the enemy will think when you blast them into the dark void of space."
-
"Heh, yeah. What's their ETA?"
-
"About 2 days. Got you here earlier so you could prepare for when they come. Have about everything stashed away here...mini-nuclear devices, electric weapons, even an old Mako vehicle... any questions?" She asks, turning around to face the two.
-
"...What's the catch? No job is this easy or fun without a catch."
-
"...does it count that the hanar also have a giant mech?" The asari had said, a smug grin forming on her face.
-
"Nah, I took one out like last month."
