"It's the elcor's version of Christmas, some volus Independence Day, and the anniversary of the founding of Taetrus for the turians." Vel explained.
-
Scorch: "Great. So now we have to deal with an assassin, the council, and all the people that are here? Please tell me we at least have access to see the council. Maybe their security? So that we actually do our fúcking jobs?"
-
Edited by A Stormy Dio: 3/22/2017 6:15:33 PM"Probably. The Turian Councilor is the only one who believes us; he'll get us access to their security." She says, as the doors open, revealing a (apartment similar to Commander Shepard's apartment) except that the walls were darker, and had an additional bedroom and bathroom.
-
Ghost: "Quaint..." Scorch: "This should do nicely..." Scorched looked around, seeing it more as a bachelor pad
-
"Can't exactly blame ya for liking the place; they poured every penny into this place...that wasn't from mercenary jobs." She had said, looking for the bedroom she'd temporary sleep in.
-
Scorch: "Wooooow... You really gonna play that card?" Ghost: "She already has." Ghost patted Scorch's back, and walked into the kitchen while the Hunter looked at Vel Scorch: "Rude..." He walked away, headed for a second room
-
She winks back toward Scorch as she saw the massive bedroom with a datapad lying on the bed. She picks it up and hits a button, an audio recording from Silsia playing. "Hey, Vel...heard you're going to the Citadel for a few days with Ghost and the Invictus guys. Hell, it happened right in front of me. You can be willing to use the apartment Merrick and I planned to use for our honeymoon..." Silsia explained, earning a long sigh from Merrick, which could be heard in the background. "We've reoutfitted the Deimos for you guys, and we've made sure you guys got a place to stay. Any credits you spend on the Citadel is yours. Try not to take down the place, Vel. See ya back on Tatakai!" The asari had said, before the audio recording ended. Vel chuckled as she laid on the bed.
-
Ghost dug around through the fridge, trying to determine if there was anything worthwhile. Scorch jumped onto his own bed, knocking out instantly
Timeskip or something?
-
...Sure.
(The next day, Earth time 6:00 AM, 31 hours before Council speech) A drell (aka Kolyat) had somehow entered the house without making a sound, watching the window, waiting for the three to wake up.
-
Scorch was already awake, doing push ups in the living room Oddly enough, he was clad in his armour, as if he hadn't slept at all
-
Kolyat simply looked toward Scorch, staring towards him. "I'm guessing that you haven't slept very well, correct?" He asks.
-
Edited by Royal Blade: 3/22/2017 11:09:33 PM"Correct." The Hunter replied gruffly, continuing his push ups "You're the assassin guy right?"
calmest reaction ever LOL
-
LMAO,
" I may be...or I may not be...that depends." He responds.
-
"Don't me the vague bullshit you butt fúck. Give it to me straight." Unfazed, Scorch simply continued his push ups
-
"Arrogant. Very similar to 800- pound Krogan. Could kill with ease. But...you are a friend of the Alliance. And this, someone I can trust. I am simply here to keep track with you people." He responds, almost spitting the last two words out like it was an insult.
-
"Cool..." He continued his push-ups, not really caring about the wording
-
"You seem...unfazed. As if insults won't hurt you. Could be good for moral, and could be better for fight. Malice throws insults at his competition. Would help take advantage of their emotions...to come in for the kill." He responds.
-
"Quick and efficient? Faster we get this job done, faster we get paid. So yeah, that sounds good."
-
"Yes. Council meeting is still a day away. Plans to assassinate the human councilor there. Take advantage of absence, put in leader who supports Cerberus. A "win-win for them" as you humans put it." He says.
-
"That's why we're here assassin. Here to stop the BASTARD before he can do it." Scorch finally stopped, and sat on his knees, looking at The assassin
-
"My father sacrificed his life to save the Council when Cerberus tied to take over the Citadel. I'll do the same if I have to. Ever heard of Thane Krios?" He asked Scorch.
-
"No. Then again, I come from a dimension were earth still exists so I'm not very knowledgeable."
-
"Of course. I've heard of the Dojo a little bit; my father had wanted me to visit that place instead of the hanar, believing it to be a type of sanctuary on this version of Earth; that was back before the Lenny War and the Cerberus coup happened though. WAY back." He had said, beginning to pace around the room.
-
"Times changed huh? Weird how that works..."
-
"Time is like a person's footprints on the beach. They're only temporary; the wave known as death could sweep you away at any moment, and with it, everything that you know and love." Kolyat had replied somberly, looking down to the floor.
