"Entities" (Sea of Storms, Phoenix Massing) Floating through the area was a small Alliance cruiser, which proceeded to eject a small Alliance shuttle (the Kodiak), which had popped out of its hangar. It was approaching the research ship, as it floated almost lifeless and aimlessly in space, with unknown things bulging on the outside of the ship. Inside the Kodiak heading to the ship, however, was Mechanist, Silsia, and a human Alliance pilot, who was driving the thing to a suitable spot.
Open to PowerKnight.
• Looking out one of the veiwscreens, Mechanist whistled at the fleshy bulges. "That is one ugly infection." He leaned into the cockpit, knocking with his talons. "Bring us around the side, about twenty meters." Pulling back into the cabin, he looked at Silsia. "Y'know, on my plain of reality, this entire segment of the galaxy is just one big nebula. From about, Eight Kiloparsces towards Attican Beta and Three the other way is all boiling hydrogen gas. Melt the hull off a dreadnought if the shields go down."

 • "Seriously? Geth used to use this place as a mechanization ground; also might've used it as a weapons plant; specially on Aite, nearby." The Asari responded, looking out the same window. "Goddess, that place looks like someone puked on that ship...and he had some sort of disease..." she had mumbled to herself within earshot of the Mechanist. "Yes, sir." The pilot replied, as the Kodiak moved into the base. "Might wanna have those oxygen helmets on; there's no atmosphere in half the damn ship." While passing by, grotesque human corpses floated into space.

 • Mechanist peeked into the cockpit once again, telling the pilot to don a mask ahead of time. Opening the hatch on the Kodiak, he tossed several grenades towards the bodies. When the grenades detonated, they sent bolts of plasma towards the nearest objects. "Standard procedure it to burn the bodies. Preferably we toss 'em into blackholes or stars, but plasma works fine. Trick is to ionize the air near them in atmosphere. Rips apart organic matter faster than you can say it. My battalion liked to toss contaminants off the ship at FTL, breaks down the molecules." •
Cool.
"Us? We either recover the bodies and bring 'me home as we usually do...or in a case like this..." she replies, pointing to wherever the corpses used to be. "We leave them. No point to get them if they're...all lost and all. More because of them being so disfigured to the extent that we don't know who they are anymore." She replied. The ship veered itself over to a massive hull breach, stuff such as equipment, weapons, and even a few experimental weapons.

 • "Leaving them's a bad idea. Lot of the stuff I've dealt with is slightly reality bending. Tend to show up uninvited in cites. Bad news." Mechanist jumped out of the shuttle into the breach, using the metal plumage on his arms to latch onto the remains of the hull. In his wake were several purification grenades that burned up the bodies between the shuttle and him. Gears between his armor plates spun rapidly, emitting light. Silisa heard a distorted version of the Mechanist's voice, despite the lack of atmosphere. "Hey-Can-Biotic-Fields-Carry-Sound?"

 • "I believe so. I can hear you, right?" She says. All across the walls of the non-pressurized areas were human and unknown corpses sticking to the walls, roof, ground, and even some jagged pieces of metal aboard the ship. It looked like a clusterf***.

 • Mechanist took a closer look at one of the unfamiliar corpses. The glowing gears across his body spun again. "Look-at-this-one. Never-seen-anything-like-it."

 • It happened to be some sort of robotic body, with its limbs torn apart. Whatever was on this ship wanted any living thing dead...whether it was organic or synthetic. "Last time I checked, the Alliance managed to try to build synthetic humans; Division 9, Alenko told me. Told me when no-one was around." The Asari had said, floating next to her with an oxygen mask on.

 • "Synth-human-huh? We-had-something-like-that. Tank-builts. Most-of-them-were-a-bust. Project-Steel-got some-results-back-in-the-Twenty-Five-Twenties. Those-guys-are-long-dead-though. We-got-project-Forlorn,-stuffed-the-growers-with-tech. Don't-like-the-idea-of-entirely-synthetic-replacement. Mass-produced-warriors." Mechanist taped a purification grenade to the imitate-human, pushing it into space while pulling the pin. "Tell-the-pilot-to-keep-his-distance. And-circle-regularly."

 • "I'll make sure that happens." She had said, as the Kodiak ends up leaving from their sight. "Mechanist, sir. There should be a door up ahead that leads to the labs. Should maybe give you guys some answers to what happened. Unidentified lifeforms are beyond the lab doors. Lockdown reasons. They're all hostile, according to Chakwas." The pilot had said. "I'll check for any more signs within the next 5 minutes or so. You need backup, we'll send it to you." He had said.

 • "Now-that-Ithink-about-it, Forlorn-troopers-are-very-mass-produced, we-used-them-when-traditional-warfare-was-unrewarding. Get-ready. Purifier-grenades-only work-if-the-target's-down. Gotta-do-this-fast-and-quick, and-if-you-get-any-stuff-on-you, biotic-it-off." Grabbing another type of grenade off his body, Mechanist pulled the pin, then threw it at the door. Apparently a multistage shaped charge, it blew through the door, and definitely would do damage to anything immediately on the other side.
