"Similar to human barbarians...except they can rip entire bodies in half...with their bare hands." She said, pulling up an image of said yahg.

"So like space trolls?"
-
"Pretty much. Usually have them locked in STG with the salarians. Couple of them roam around some merc fields. That's about all the yahg there are outside their home planet. Now... this may be the last time you can ask me this before the hanar try to destroy Illium; any general questions?" She asks.
-
"What kind of firepower do they pack? Armour? Standard gear? Gods own anti-son-of-a-bitch machine?"
-
Hanar mostly use the same weapons as the rest of us do; thermal-clipped weapons, standard armor. Thought any giant mech earlier is armed with massive thanix cannons; could counter a damn dreadnought with it." She had said.
-
"And what's standard for you? Because I took a -blam!-ing fifty cal pistol like two weeks ago."
-
"Those were Krogan. These are lighter weaposn; they use plasma rounds instead of calibers." Liara explained, throwing JT a simple pistol, known as the M-3 Predator Pistol.

"Christ whatever happened to Smith, Wesson and Winchester?"
-
"Let's just say evolution of weaponry replaced them with Elanus, and all these other fancy shops and stores across the galaxy. That pistol I just passed you is the most common one of them." She had said.
-
"Christ I thought Cedyetica was bad... Alright, what's this baby do?"
-
"12 shots of high energy shots. We have shields and barriers to counter them, but they also have turrets that fire that same ammunition straight toward our heads...and rockets could still kill us, as with grenades." Liara had explained, walking over to pick up her own weapon, the Acolyte, which seemingly looked asari in design and origin.
-
"This baby melt or pierce?"
-
"Pierce. Armor-piercing ammo? Say goodbye to a limb every single shot that you fire." Liara had said, a smile on her face. "What else do you want me to explain?"
Up to you; if there's no ore questions, then we Timeskip.

I got none.

Got it. Just...one more event before you kill some jellyfish.
(The night before the attack, 11:00 pm) Liara and Shila were both overlooking the city, as their armies prepared to face the terrorist threat head-on. Anti-air cannons had been set up on the higher floors of the spaceport, as well as snipers and additional troops. The two women looked toward JT. "We're ready for tomorrow morning, when it happens." The Shadow Broker had said, inspecting her Acolyte pistol. "Master, she told us that the Alliance will be arriving within three hours after the initial invasion with a full fleet; are we ready for this?" Shila had said, cleaning off her sword.

JT was sitting on an old rocking chair of wood on the roof of the building they were staying in as he watched the endless activity of the city buzzing below. He held a cigar between his left thumb and index finger, having just blown out a ring of smoke. "We're ready."
-
"Right...check your weapons. If we survive this...I might just visit this 'Dojo' that is talked about so much around the Galaxy." Liara had said. "Also...got some help before the hanar managed to lose comms with us." Liara had said, as about 25 Krogan or so appeared through a doorway. They had recognized JT, and ran up to him. "JT!" They yelled out.
BTW, these were the same Krogan you rescued from Tuchanka.
-
"Welcome to the party boys - You men ready?"
-
"YEAH!!!" They all screamed. One could be heard saying, "When I get back home, I'm gonna find myself down ryncol and drink every last drip of it!" "Well...the Krogan seem to be excited." The Asari had said, somehow sliding next to JT while he was distracted with the Krogan.
-
"Yeah, they're a rambunctious crowd. Slap these guys onto the front lines and god damn will I feel bad for the sorry shits they're against."
-
"Considering you went against a bunch of them, I'm not surprised. Them and Geth Primes are similar to the tanks within our societies. You could consider that Alliance Sentinels, or Cerberus Atlas mechs are like that, but them? They're made naturally that way." Liara had said, passing him some sort of new gun.
-
"Yeah, well tanks and tanks work well. Like Tigers and Shermans," JT said as he analyzed the weapon with curiosity.
-
It was somewhat very similar to a reflective silver .357 magnum, except six lone thermal clips laid within what would be six .357 rounded bullets within its chamber. "The tech specialists and I helped create it. Consider it a thank you, if you live through this." Liara had said, her smile growing.
NEW WEAPON RECOVERED (You can call it whatever you want, but this is the militaristic name.) M-43 Python- "Who says old can't be new?" An updated version of a .357 magnum from 20th century Earth. Contains 36 thermal bullets (6 per thermal clip), and is considered the descendant of the M-6 Carnifex Heavy Pistol. However, firing the gun can cause temporary severe recoil, with firing it continuously slowly degrading the accuracy by some degree. However, it provides much more damage than its predecessor, and can rip straight through armor without the need of armor-piercing ammo.
"Oh god this is Clint Eastwood's wet dream... Thank you Liara, serioudly this is the best thing I've gotten in a long ass time," JT said as he holstered the gun in his duster, stowing it in an empty inner holster on the jacket. He always had a few pockets and holsters in case he found something cool. "You should come hit me up sometime after this all, might be able to give you a gift or two in return. And for once I'm not cracking a sex joke, this is worth a bit to me."

"I am. In two weeks or so, multiple representatives from the quarians, turians, Krogan, and Alliance are gonna on Tatakai. They may seek to set up outposts across the area. I may be able to hitch on one of their rides and come see you then." Liara had said, standing up, and seeing the skies. "But for right now...we need to worry about the hanar. We'll discuss the rest of that conversation later." She had replied.
Timeskip?
