When destiny 2 releases, everyone watch for the first person to call for a nerf. Then, we know who to blame the cycle of nerfs on.

It's called it was new, nothing else, just new. And that newness created a nostalgia for it being good and better, when it wasn't any better really. Go back and watch a movie that you thought was great when you were younger. Watch it now and it is most likely nowhere near as good as you remember.
