Bungie only has so much control on the game. If Activision feels a push for PvP, then Bungie has to cater to PvP. If Activision feels more players will return with a reintroduction of PvE, then Bungie will cater to that. This isn't Bungie's game or vision anymore. They lost that when they signed with a corporation that caters to current-profit structures in the market. The tease we saw of a new open idea in Halo: ODST is gone. This game will be sold and catered to younger targeted audiences that don't relate to what Bungie originally envisioned. Bungie lost a good writer who understood the struggles of differentiating bullets from fiction. He gave us Cortana, he gave us master chief, he gave us our ghost.... to only release it to a community manager who discredited Halo 2 for its faults while working for another company. Bungie doesn't have the vision they once had to lead us into a separate gaming experience. They are simply acting as puppets for a production company who is using COD based marketing tactics for max profit. Will Destiny 2 be a good game? Most likely But it won't engulf us with content that we've all wanted since Destiny's initial release because the game is not catered to that idea anymore. We will be granted a nice visual of graphics, cut scenes, and a basic story that will take a few hours to complete.

The possibilities of what coukd have been ate a thing of the past. We are working with a different finished product, and greatly diminished potential outcomes than what could have been before.
