First off you have to agree destiny is ruined. It's not. Still love it as much as day 1. Much less grinding actually. Don't mistake all the likes for it being the majority of players that are mad. People normally use this forum to bitch because they can't have everything their way. So all the likes come from complainers and whinny kids.

I think that the complaining has been part of the problem in some of the decisions that this company has made instead of sticking with the concept of this game. Hopefully D2 this company sticks to a foundation and work from there with looking for other options then what the sanbox has offered. Ill never understand the adjustments in this game knowing one event affects the other and is only based off of that one.

I think it's more of a content drought that keeps people complaining. They are misplacing their anger. It's well know now that Destiny's gaming engine was extremely inefficient causing them to cut the original game in parts to sell as expansions. I think they said it took hours just to upload 1 frame of play when they were making new content. If we saw a constant stream of new content, people would be playing the game instead of being on the forums complaining. That's why I am glad Destiny 2 is getting a new engine. I bet we get double the content on day one and have a better flow of new content.

Last gen played it's part in this game, but lack of content wasn't really the issue IMO. The lack of incentive, the sandbox, and creating the same content causes gamers to lose interest. If you Look at Vog on how many times gamers ran it compared to Kings fall, you will see that Vog wasn't ran so much because of light level, It was ran so much because gamers had an incentive even though the RNG was rough. Gamers knew the rewards were worth the time spent. If that time spent is not respected and you are not reworded for that time. It's look at as a waste of time. Kings fall was built for light level. So knowing gamers ran Kings fall 80+ times, it wasn't because of the incentive. It was for max light and nothing else until Bungie made that 320 update. When that happened Kings fall had no more purpose so way run it knowing max light can be achieved other ways. IMO Bungie spent to much time being concerned about cheese spots and light level rather then making the raid have a real incentive. Light level has no purpose in PVE because it's capped before you even come close to max. So what's the purpose of adding a bunch of extra levels? Nothing but grind time. Now when it comes to PVP it plays a different role. This is where Bungie needs to come to terms on making a system and stay with it.
