The meme asks a very relevant question: why doesn't the sun have a visible tail?

2 RepliesBecause a comet's motion is not the cause of its tail. The tail is matter ripped off of the comet by the solar wind generated by the sun. What you seem to have neglected is that said tail doesn't follow the path of the comet, instead it always faces in the opposite direction of the sun.
