Not the traveler, that's the earth pasted inside a director symbol. If you look really close you can see the actual traveler under it

Supposedly, the big one really was the Traveler, and the small one was just an error in the promo art that has already been fixed and edited out. So who knows.

I don't see another floating orb, where is it at? Wouldn't make sense to have the earth there, above the last city. At least not to me.

Look closely and you'll see a continent in the large orb. Look towards the bottom of it and you'll see the traveler floating above the burning city. It's symbolism. They're telling you destiny 2's main conflict happens on earth, hence the large director symbol for earth. Then they're showing you the last city burning beneath that symbol
