"Thank you, ma'am." He looks at the books.
Any o' these look like the one?
-
Hidden behind a few book is a photograph. Part of it sticks out. All you can see is a Titan that looked like Chase in the photo.
-
Fionn flips through a couple books, waiting for Sarah to look away or something so he could steal the picture.
What'll I 'ave ta do with it?
-
She looked away, paying attention to her studies.
-
What do I do with it? He asks, slipping it into his belt so quickly and silently nobody sees it. He then moves on to the next book.
-
First of all, leave the room. We don't want her to realize you took it while you're in the room.
-
He finds a book that wouldn't be suspicious and picks it up. "Mind if I borrow this?"
-
Leave. Now. "Go ahead." Sarah/Seraph continued her studies. She turned around to see what book he borrowed. He'd taken the prize of her collection: How to Calmly Handle Being on a Fireteam with a Hunter. But she noticed her photo was gone. Her cheeks turned red with embarrassment. She piled through her entire shelf, panicking and repeating, "Where is it?"
-
Fionn was already out of the area, heading towards the city edge. Now what?
-
Edited by Splashback77: 3/30/2017 2:44:47 AMGive me a few minutes... she'll be awake and you'll be out of there. Sarah had finally realized that the Hunter took the photo. She stormed out of the Tower, blushing and nervous, "That Hunter can't know! That Hunter can't know!"
-
Fionn meanwhile hides in the sewers, finding a spot that Sarah is likely to find eventually and tacking the picture to the wall so she'll find it once he's gone. He keeps a hand on it however.
-
The picture is one of her entire team: Blake on the left; James in the middle; Sarah standing in front of James with his hand on her shoulder; and Chase on the right. Sarah began searching where she could frantically. All over the City. Until she heard an echo and looked to the sewer lid at her feet, "He didn't..."
-
Fionn waits patiently for Lunar to pull him out. She's goin' ta find me...
-
Do you want to get out of here in one piece? She moves the lid and climbs down. She crept toward Fionn back against the wall.
-
It's been more 'an a few minutes, mate. Fionn hears her and immediately slips into the shadows.
-
This is kinda hard. She runs towards him. She's also interfering. It's making the process really slow.
-
Fionn ducks into the shadows, dissapearing. Behind a spray of mist. Well if ya don' hurry, I'm a dead man.
-
Edited by Splashback77: 3/28/2017 10:00:33 PMA few more seconds... Lunar gets Fionn out of there and the photo falls right into Seraph's hand. The vision faded from the Warlock’s mind. Sarah woke up. Back on Venus, as she remembered.
-
Fionn blinks a few times. "Well... That happened."
-
"My head..." she complained, "I've always had mixed feelings about that timeline. I love the drama, but I hate the fact that I'm depressed as a result."
-
Fionn laughs. "Good ta have ya back, Sarah." He tells her.
-
"It's good to be home. About that vacation?"
-
Fionn smiles, offering her a hand up. "Let's go tell the Vanguard we're back, an then we take a nice, looong vacation."
-
She takes his hand. Back to her feet.
-
"Set a course fer home?" He asks the Ghosts.
