Please, oh please do one thing for me only Bungie . . . . . . . . . SEPARATE PvP weapon nerfs from PvE nerfs. Don't ruin a perfectly good weapon because people whine about it in PvP.

 • Or better yet make pvp gear abilities standardized for everyone. In other words have a pool preset perks everyone has access too including your int/dis/str stats and guns. However you can wear whatever you want because the perks on your armor are for pve only. For guns they should have a pvp version of each archetype that everyone had access too. If one gun becomes op then they can just change the pvp version. I know this goes against the fantasy of having the same guardian for all activities but let's be real. No one wears the same thing in pvp and pve. I hate having to carry armor and guns for pvp and having to switch everything around every time I got back to pve. It would be so much better to have a preset stat and perk loadout for pvp so I can wear my pve gear and everything will be fair in pvp because everyone has access to the same thing.

 • The need more separation between pve and pvp period. Don't give my a quest that carries from pve to pvp. I am not in the pvp match to play pvp, just there to complete the quest requirement. Really not fair to the other players trying to win the match.

 • Does that mean that weapons that were nerfed because of pve should be usable in pvp? Gjallahorn Black Hammer Icebreaker Elemental primaries All nerfed or left behind because they were making pve endgame events too easy
I'm just pointing out that not all weapon nerfs were due to pvp
He said separate the nerfs. Not the weapons. So yes, if what he is proposing was originally implemented (as a they are suggesting Destiny 2 should be) not only would they be usable in PvP, but they would have remained pre-nerf, which would make them even better to use in PvP. 2. Auto Rifles, Hand cannons, pulse rifles, snipers, shotguns were just a few entire weapon typesnerfed due to PvP. Not to mention the nerfs actual classes. It has even gotten to the point where an artifact is being nerfed all because of people complaining about it in PvP. 3. Elemental primaries are back. With the recent pvp special ammo nerf it would be safe to assume that Icebreaker would have gotten nerfed alongside the No Land Beyond nerf. Because let's be realistic here... Ice breaker was always a good gun, No Land Beyond use to be considered a joke. Obviously the better of those 2 guns would have been nerfed at the same time. I'll take your Gjallahorn and raise you Truth. As far as black hammer goes, I agree, this 1 gun is a good example of how one game mode ruined the other. But that is just it. That's 1 gun as opposed to the literal hundreds that were effected by the PvP nerfs over the years. Now before you come back and reply something along the lines of I am using theories to disprove the validity of your PvE nerf examples... Take all of that out of the picture... That would still make it 4 guns effected by PvE. Literally hundreds effected by PvP. That being said I think it is safe to say that a game marketed as a PvE game should in opinion never nerf anything... If you don't like the guns. Don't play. (I never cried for Nintendo to nerf bowser. Because you get what you pay for.) But if they are going to nerf things at least separate the nerfs between game modes.
