i think the image has to do with the Cabal rising up and surprising everyone with a full scale attack as depicted in the picture.
I am happy with this we need a Cabal Raid already. I cant believe there is none.
E3 needs to hurry up so we can see Destiny 2 in action.
My guess a new updated engine so changes can be made alot easier, there is no ps3/360 holding the game back like Destiny now.
60 fps on ps4 pro (maybe)
an actual open world as intended. The vision they had for Destiny was with the old consoles in mind and that vision was too much for them to handle so it was handicapped.
imagine a planet you go to and you have to use your speeder to actually get around and have actual towns
imagine actually getting to fly your ship!
imagine getting a story without having to fumble through digitally collected cards !

Doubt the engine will change much. Graphics are good enough, but an increase in fps would be nice. I expect it to only be 30 on console though

ok the issue is this, the original engine could run on 360/PS3 and than upscale the same engine for PS4/XB1 part of the issues with destiny is that the old engine was holding it back to the current generation, there was not enough memory on ps3/360 to add as much as they have added. Once rise of iron came out it added alot more shader effects to the game cause its not avail on old consoles. For Bungie to make a change right now, the engine is so old that they have to DECOMPILE the entire game which takes a day to do than they can make whatever changes, add dlc etc to the game than they have to recompile the game. that is not optimal for the current generation. I do think the engine would have to change and be upgraded so changes can be made easier for the DEVS to implement.

There was never a Cabal raid because Bungie needed to hold back ideas for destiny 2...proof they don't actually have a 10 year plan maybe lol

Two words. Space battles. We saw that in TTK cut scene and when I originally got the game and saw variety of ships I thought this would eventually be a thing. It'd be cool if they do something like that in D2
