It's really great to finally say Destiny 2 here. :) More to come, tune in on Thursday.
-
Hopefully the gameplay video in May won't be bullshit lies like the e3 gameplay of Destiny 1.
-
"Not actual gameplay footage" Should have been at the bottom of the E3 reveal for Destiny one.
-
Still no actual gameplay? And this many people are hyped already...
-
Lol bungie fanboys so easily amused
-
Anyone else not hyped at all? After ttk I stopped being hyped by dlc content and stuff, it's always ended the same way. I'll probably still play D2 but so far nothing seems that exciting.
-
My body is ready and my wallet is now empty. Now I await the beta
-
This concise list makes me happy.
-
If this is any indication of Destiny 2 then it's already a letdown. Everything in this is exactly the same. Same cabal models Same looking map Same looking gear Destiny 2 is going to be nothing more then a big DLC

Edited by Executor Hideo: 3/30/2017 5:03:51 AMJust a slight observation about the trailer... At the end of the reveal trailer, you see two guardians advancing, and two providing cover from the top of a building. It could have been four random guardians, yet you notice that not one, not two, not three, but all four guardians appear to be wearing armor from the same faction (New Monarchy) fighting back against the attackers. They're doing what their Faction's core belief is. This raises two points... 1. The faction you chose may actually have a slight effect on what you're doing, and 2. As I predicted, when the City falls under attack, you see New Monarchy fighting back, while Dead Orbit and the War Cult are nowhere to be found... Thoughts?

Hey bb
-
Deadpool is in destiny?!
-
ALL I want/need to know is whether PVE and PVP are separated. This single thing will tell me whether D2 will be worth it or not.
-
A teaser trailer leading to a longer teaser trailer? Meh, I guess I'll check back in a couple months to see if the sequel is worth getting excited about. Nice to see that we already have details about the overpriced limited editions that seem no different from the original release though. 🙄 I loved Destiny, but if the game is releasing in September, then there should clearly be gameplay worth showing now instead of waiting until may. Otherwise, they should have just released the teaser trailers in may. Besides, I'm still not convinced Destiny 2 won't also be rushed. It was meant to be released last year, and the reports that Bungie needed to release it by a certain date this year or lose a substantial bonus certainly doesn't instill faith that Destiny will entirely escape the crap that was pulled on the original launch. I certainly hope I'm wrong, but we shall see.
-
It is just a animated trailer. What is the game play like and what is in the expansions? Obviously, pvp is the same with red bars and no dedicated servers, nothing mentioned. Why care about early play when you can watch YouTube and get a better idea of what the game is about then decide to purchase.

Bump me pals

The teaser trailer was AWESOME. That trailer was exceptionally meh.
-
Trailer looks great. There's so much you could do with this story. I hope they take full advantage of it. You could turn re-taking of the city into a conquest type of game where you take back areas of the city and keep them.

This is nice don't get me wrong, and this isn't a Destiny bashing post. But. It isn't enough. It's a nice cinematic and has got people hyped. What Bungie should do, is have a reveal later on, that has real good juicy details in. Show us gameplay, give us ideas on what they've learnt from Destiny. This is the ideal time to show they have listened and learned. I truly do want Destiny 2 to succeed for everyone involved, and also for us gamers ; the people who keep the industry alive.
-
Edited by bip: 3/30/2017 5:33:01 PMCinematics that tell us nothing about how the game looks or plays? Woohoo, best trailer ever! I'll think about it once they show gameplay.

Watched the trailer and not all that excited. I'll wait until more info is available.
