Not excited for this one. I was excited for the release of Destiny in 2014. So much that I preordered everything well in advance with the exception of RoI. I will no longer join they hypetrain for any game.
I truly hope that Bungie has learned from their numerous mistakes with this very long three year beta.

If PvE and PvP are separate entities, then might you consider coming back? In before complaints about Exotics from PvE not carrying over to PvP, but allowing for spec-switching might actually cover that.

I haven't "left". I am just not joining the hypetrain. The wool is no longer covering my eyes. Separating PvE and PvP is just one of the many things that need to change. Destiny was fun, I wouldn't have played it so much if it wasn't but it had far more potential than they gave us. There were many missteps which created such a negative following and there were also many positives that warrant such a devoted fan base. Im not concerned with things carrying over to the sequel. They went back on their words to "not make things we worked hard to get seem useless" years ago so I had no hope or thoughts about anything crossing over to the sequel.
