"DON'T YOU FÚCKING DARE, DEITY!" Royal leaned into his chair, holding the edges of the seat

"No! We are settling this!" Alex said. "I am not wrong! I refuse to be! Breaking is-" Suddenly alex and Roy were pushed out of the way by Jazz, and pointed her gun right at the door and cackled. "AH! GET DOWN!" Cortez let out as he jumped to the floor along with everyone else. Jazz shot the door, and a small explosion sent her flying and laughing back across the hallway. The door exploded as she landed like a rag doll. "JAZZ?!" Alex called out with worry. After a moment of silence, the girl suddenly stood up and saluted.
-
"Guess we're going in!" Royal yelled as he moved inside, weapon raised
-
The rest of the team followed Royal. Inside was a massive square room with gold desks, shelves, apples?! Everything in the room was made of gold! But Roy noticed something. There was a glass cylinder, the size to fit a person, at the end of the room. As something seemed to just have moved down it.... "Rich bastard." Alex said as he looked around. "Should sell this room. Just take it out with a crane and sell it to a collector in Di-Jin." The group didn't notice what Roy had, however.
-
Royal walked forward, towards the glass cylinder slowly while adjusting the SMG in his hands.
-
"Roy? What is it?" Alex asked as he stepped beside him. "Wait a second...this is an elevator!" He declared. "Look! It's got buttons on the side of it and everything!" Alex pointed to the side of the cylinder which had two buttons on the wall.
-
"Yeah no shit Sherlock..." Royal sighed, glancing around the room. "He's gone."
-
"It's called pressing all the buttons Roy." Alex said as he pressed the elevator button repeatedly. Suddenly a platform shot up and the cylinder opened. Though, the platform was tiny, and could probably only fit two people at the max. "Uhhhhhh I-I don't think we can all fit in that!" Cortez let out with a stutter
-
"Deity and Jazz can go first." Royal said as he walked towards one of the shelves, picking a golden baseball off of it
-
"Yaaaaa nope." Alex said as he grabbed Royal by the back of his armours neck and dragged him into the elevator. "Times of the essence! Jazz! Start up the car!" Alex commanded. The girl saluted and ran off. The other soldiers looked around in confusion. "What are you two doing?! Go after her?!" "Yes sir!" Patrick's saluted as he and Cortez ran after the twilit girl. Alex stepped in the elevator and pressed a button. The cylinder then closed and the platform began to shoot down. Also, the space was incredibly tight with both of them standing in the small space...
-
Royal, being who he was, leaned against Alex as if he were a damsel in distress "Oh help me! I am the Twilight princess Anne!"
-
"I swear to god if I could move my arm I'd slap your bitch ass." Alex threatened. His face furrowed as he aimed his head up so his face wouldn't be so awkwardly close to Roy.
-
Royal recoiled backwards, moving away from Deity. "Can't take a joke..." He said, looking out the glass
-
The thing was, there was no where to recoil back to. Royals chest was literally pressed up against Alex's. "Oh I can take a joke! It just so happens you're a weird cuck and I've found I'd rather not be in tight spaces with other men! I speak only for myself of course."
-
"I'm a weird cuck? Coming from the man who literally finessed his way into a relationship after who knows how long of being mister fúcking bachelor....." Royal shot back, but almost choked towards the end and obviously regretted it
-
"Awe thanks buddy. Do most of your insults end up helping your target or...?" Alex said. He took it as a compliment and chuckled. Then, the elevator stopped. And the door opened. Both of its inhabitants fell out as soon as they had space. Alex quickly stood up and looked into the area they were in. "Oh...shit...."
-
Royal quickly shot to his feet and looked around the room as well, eyeing everything while playing around with the baseball
-
As he looked up, he saw that he was in what looked to be another hanger. This one was smaller... And had a massive hole in the wall. As He observed, he noticed that there were dozens of massive Mech's. they were all painted a desert camo and had large miniguns on their arms. Their legs bent for stabilization and they had rockets on their backs. Suddenly, Alex was talking. "What's going on?! Where you are guys?" He said. As Roy looked to him he saw he had his hand to his ear. He had an ear piece on. Alex's expression changed to confusion and shock before he lowered his hand. "Okay. So, the plan worked. But uh...he has some serious fire power." He put simply as he pointed to the mech's.
-
"I can see that, thanks very much Alex." Royal said, glancing around the room with a worried expression stupidly plastered beneath his helmet. His HUD analyzed the mechs, scanning for any weak points that would come in handy during a fight
-
The joints in particular looked weak. But- Royals train of thought was broken as he saw Alex climbing atop one of the mechs and opening the hatch to get inside. "What are you waiting for?! Let's move!"
-
"They're not automated?!" Royal asked, almost bewildered as he climbed onto a second
-
"No! They're all manual!" Alex said as he hopped down the hatch. His voice echoed through the mechs speaker. "BEHOLD! THE GOD OF THE DESERT! MWAHAHAHA!"
-
Royal clambered into his own. "Just like a Titan..." He mumbled mostly to himself, though with the Speakers on Alex was also able to hear it
-
"Yup basically." Alex said. "Anyways. What kinds of weapons does this thing have? Ah fuck it. We'll figure it out on the way there. Let's move!" He yelled as he charged at the wall. He ran straight through it with ease, making another massive hole in the wall.
-
"Yeah... Great idea...." Royal said as his mech chased after Alex's
-
The mech ran across the light coat of sand on the ground as Roy tagged alex. The mechs could run pretty fast. The speedometer on the mech's hud told Roy he was going at 50km/hr. The cockpit he sat in was confined but armoured. The weakest point was the strong glass in front of him that allowed him to see. He could see explosions in the distance now however. A battle seemed to be taking place.
