Now that they made it to the island, it was time for the fun to truly begin. Haknir and Captain Edward led the crew into the jungle while the other gang members stayed back, guarding the ship. The resources of the crew were now cut off as they went deeper. It was a matter of survival now.
As they journeyed into the tree line, all seemed fine. The sun still shined through the canopy well enough and the wildlife sounded amazing. However, as they ventures further, sunlight began to became more and more scarce. The birds began to chirp in a more dreadful tone. There truly was something wrong with this place. Haknir looked back at the crew.
"We're getting closer. Be careful, these places can sweep you up without warning."
Everyone slowed down a bit more and started treading more carefully.
oh man

both our plots are gunna be going at the same time haha
-
It will be chaotic, no doubt, but mine is dying already, so we'll see how that goes.
-
i missed the start to begin with. What's going on with it?
-
Haknir got a crew to sail with him and they're on a cursed island full of pirates in search of treasure.
-
ah. Classic.
-
Yes indeed, I was trying to make it resemble pirates of the Caribbean and all the pirate cliches.
-
Pip, who somehow survived whatever past encounters there were, was trailing along in the middle of the group. Having been to many tropical worlds before, none of any of the surroundings surprised him, much.
-
While walking along the forest floor, he noticed two island guards (pirates that protect the island) walking with the crew, about 15 feet away, one on either side of them.
-
He studied them from time to time, rather curious to know more about them and why they were there. He continued to walk on, having kept his plasma pistol with him. He had kept the crossbow as well.
-
After a short time, they both stopped and looked at each other, nodding. Suddenly, arrows and crossbow bolts flew straight to the crew from all directions.
-
Pip growled as this began happening, unholstering his weapons as he took aim at both of the hostiles at once, opening fire with the plasma pistol as he let the bolt fly.
-
Im gonna end this, you're the only one participating now.
talath walked with caution listening to his surroundings carefully. He always knew jungles were dangerous no matter where you went so this was nothing new to him.
-
While he walked, he heard footsteps on the forest floor. There was an island guard just 15 feet away, walking with them, staring directly at them.
-
he seen him and wondered what should do because he was looking directly at them. Even though he could see that one he wondered just how were out here.
-
When talath noticed him, he drew a crossbow and stared at talath, stopping in his tracks.
-
he notices him hoping that he doesn't fire at him. He goes to grab his sword to draw it.
-
When talath went for his sword, the man immediately readied his weapon, aiming at talath.

"A cursed tropical jungle... maybe we'll meet an army of skeleton pirates looking for a William Turner." False joked from within the ranks of pirates.
-
While he was talking, he heard a noise a but further out. In the distance, there was the same man with the gun watching them. He stood next to a large tree with his rifle on his back.
-
"Damn. Man's been stalking us and I don't think we will be shaking him off. What do you think? Take him out?" False took out a few musket balls he stashed away on a pocket waiting to see if he would need to use them.
-
Haknir looked around. "Remember, he knows where we are. We don't. We can try though."
-
"If we can manage to injure one of his legs we can take his chances of sneaking away away from him. We would still have to keep from getting shot down." False charges one of the pellets in his hand to mimic a rifle shot at the ready should he throw it.
-
The man watched as they looked at him and spoke. He moved behind the tree, but still watched them.
-
"Hmm, keep an eye out for the shine of his gun. If it's a musket he probably will need to reload after he shoots."
