[i]Now that they made it to the island, it was time for the fun to truly begin. Haknir and Captain Edward led the crew into the jungle while the other gang members stayed back, guarding the ship. The resources of the crew were now cut off as they went deeper. It was a matter of survival now.
As they journeyed into the tree line, all seemed fine. The sun still shined through the canopy well enough and the wildlife sounded amazing. However, as they ventures further, sunlight began to became more and more scarce. The birds began to chirp in a more dreadful tone. There truly was something wrong with this place. Haknir looked back at the crew.[/i]
"We're getting closer. Be careful, these places can sweep you up without warning."
[i]Everyone slowed down a bit more and started treading more carefully.[/i]

[b]They kept walking and Alric could here movement around each side of him. There were to island guards walking on either side of him at a distance. They watched intently.[/b]

[b]He continued onwards, ignoring them but preparing for a fight [/b]

[b]Soon enough, one nodded to the other and they stopped. Vines fell from the trees above and wrapped around the crew mates, picking them up, one by one. Alric could see one dropping towards him.[/b]

[b]Alric dropped down to one knee, sending a wave of fire into the air from his Palm [/b]

[b]While he fired up at the vines, the pirates shot at him, keeping pressure on him.[/b]

[b]The shots pinged off his shielding, and the vines were caught on fire, which climbed upwards [/b]

[b]One of the guards rushed Alric, throwing him to the ground, he then jumped off and backed up quickly. Another vine dropped on Alric and picked him up.[/b] [spoiler]I completely forgot about you...[/spoiler]

[spoiler]Am sorry, pls forgive[/spoiler] [b]Before he had a chance to cut himself down, the vines pulled up and threw him across the jungle. When he landed, nothing around him in the dense jungle looked familiar. The only thing he could recognize was the giant structure on the mountain in the distance which had shown through the holes in the canopy.[/b]

[spoiler]It's K [/spoiler] [b]Alric took a moment to regain his composure before getting to his feet and looking through the jungle. [/b]

[b]There wasn't much to see except for small, almost unbeatable paths in the brush that someone had been using.[/b]

"Great...." Alric said, making his way to path and using it to move towards the temple thingy

[b]While walking down the path, he encountered a small clearing. In the middle, there was a small shack with no door. There were plants, neatly taken care of around it and smoke rising out of a small chimney on top. Someone had been here recently.[/b]

"Hello??" He yelled as he moved towards the Shack, sheathing his blade

[b]As he got closer, he could see inside. There were many old items placed neatly around the shack as decoration and a pot hanging over the fireplace. Just then, he heard a voice behind him. The voice an old woman.[/b] "Who are you? How did you find this place?" [b]She held a spear up, pointing it at him.[/b] [spoiler]Just to let you know, I'm going to be shutting this down unless you'd like to continue. There are only like two people participating, so I'm ending it after this, but if you'd like to finish all the way through, let me know.[/spoiler]

"Sweep you up without warning? As long as there aren't any bloodthirsty Samurai in here.." [i]Octavia muttered, as both the Lawbringer and Peacekeeper duo followed the group, sliding down and listening to their surroundings considerably.[/i]

"You never know..." [b]Hak replied. While they walked, Octavia and Olythran heard something to their right. About 15 feet away was an island guard. He walked along side them, keeping his distance. He also held a crossbow. He didn't seem very afraid. [/b]

[i]Olythran:[/i] "Ay. Hak. There's a guard, 'bout fifteen feet away...he's armed." [i]Octavia remained silent, only staring upon the guard as Olythran attempted to catch the pirate's attention. It felt like an ambush, to both of them..[/i]

[b]Right has Hak looked at the guard, he raised his crossbow, shooting at Octavia. Two more crossbow bolts came from seemingly nowhere. It indeed was an ambush.[/b]

"Damnit!" [i]Octavia yelled, narrowly dodging the bolt as it whizzed past her head. One of the three bolts slammed into Olythran's shoulder, which caused the giant man to reel back and grab the bolt's shaft. He groaned and roared, snapping the shaft in half before rising up and directing the crew to cover. [/i]

[b]The guards closed in while they ran, shooting at them more now.[/b]
