Her focus was unwavering, and eyes were locked on the door. She adjusted her air so the arrow would land in the shoulder area when it fired.

The door then suddenly swung open, and an arrow was shot as soon as a figure bursted forwards into the room.

Sera rolled forward which caused the arrow to miss her and Imbed in the wall, and when she came out of the roll she fired her own arrow which landed in the figures shoulder.

The figure was sent back into the corner of the hallway. Then, another arrow wizzed by Sera's ahead. As she got a good look she saw at least six dark cloaked figures positioned outside. But the doorway limited her point of view. "Sera! Get out of the hallway!!!" Anne yelled.

Sera rolled right and notched another arrow in her bow, then fired it at the next closest figure.

The arrow soared through the doorway, but it's target moved at the last second. He had his now drawn, but he suddenly dropped his bow and pressed his neck as a small syringe hit his throat. He fell to the ground, and Alex took cover. "God dammit!" Alex let out. "We might have a choke point, but we're trapped right now!"

"Get ready to hit then run, I've got a trick up my sleeve!" She notched a new arrow which had a bulky head, then shot it at the ground in front on the figures which then began to blink rapidly.

The figures saw the arrow and quickly ran out of the way. "What's the plan, exactly?" Anne asked Sera.

"Make em scared and have us move out of this room, then il blow the arrow. Let's move!" She hopped of the bed and ran forward, and her bow suddenly straightened out and transformed into a spear.

The two sprinted out behind her, but Sera found herself in trouble immediately. One of the cloaked figures jumped and slashed at her with a long black baton, and it hit her in the side of the head which sent her to the floor. Anne quickly returned the favour as she sent a punch into the side of the figures head, which sent them to the floor unconscious. Alex quickly grabbed one of the large tables and flipped it over, and dragged Sera over to him quickly so she could be in cover. Anne ducked behind the tables after she shot a dart at one of the kids, who was sent to the floor. The table was positioned on an angle to the doorway, so no one could effectively get the jump on them from behind. "Are you okay?!" Alex asked sera.

She rubbed the back of her head and groaned, and her spear began to glow. "Yeah il be fine, just tell me where they are...."

"Ya! Let me spot for you kid." Alex offered as he peeked above his cover. Anne was suppressing fire as much as she could with her blow gun, but the speed of the clan was astounding. "Shit!" The white haired man let out as he ducked behind cover. An arrow soared past his hair and cut off a few strands which landed on Sera's foot. "Okay. You got one behind a table on left side, one taking cover behind the window top left, then one positioned on a table in mid!"

"Alright....close your eyes for this next part, cause it's about to get bright." Her spear transformed back into a bow, and she notched another bulky arrow and fired it into the air which set of a flashbang effect. She then leapt up over the cover and sprinted to the man on the right, and leapt up and fired an arrow into his hands.

The boy she shot screamed as he fell off the table in pain. The other soldiers recovered from the strike and aimed their bows at Sera, but the one that hung out of a window had a dart that pierced his chest. The boy fell the short drop and landed on his feet, before he collapsed to the ground. As the other figure, a girl by what Sera saw, aimed her bow, a tranquilizer dart was shot into her neck. The arrow however flew from its string towards Sera

Her eyes glowed white as she raised her hand and a holy shield formed in front of her, which caused the arrow to harmlessly ping of and fall to the floor.

The inn seemed to be cleared now. All that remained were the wounded or unconscious children. "Hey, guys?" Anne said as she stood up. She slipped the blow gun into her belt strap. "I think we found our leads!" "Ya! No kidding!" Alex commented. "Let's round em up. Sera you can bound em afterwards ya?"

Holy chains floated around her as she put away her bow and hovered a bit off the ground. "Just let me know when."

Anne and Alex quickly moved everyone to the centre of the Inn. There were five, total. They all were dazed, and the ones who were injured didn't have enough strength to fight. "Tie em up Speedy." Alex told Sera.

Sera raised her hand and the chains floated around the kids, then tightened so that they couldn't escape. They glowed white for a second, then the glow went away. "There, in addition to binding them they are now forced to tell the truth. Go ahead and ask away."

"Well. That's incredibly convenient." Alex vaguely complimented. He walked around the kids, before targeting one. It was the tallest of the group. He took off the clansman's hood to reveal a young boy with blond hair and hazel eyes. His face was scarred but couldn't hide the red bumps a teen would have on their face. He looked to be thirteen at the most. "Alright ya little bastard." Alex said as he knelt down. "Why are you here? Besides killing us, of course." "But we are here to kill you." The boy said. His voice was high, and clearly had not dropped yet. "That was the whole point of why we are here. We used the kidnappings and the sabotages so we could lure you here and take you down!"

"Huh....Looks like this was a trap after all... Mind telling us who gave the order?"

"Why, the mistress and the master of course!" The boy said. "The mistress and the...seriously? You're leaders are actually called that?" Anne asked in disbelief. All of the kids nodded quickly. "And who is the master and the mistress?" Anne asked them. "We don't know." A soft feminine voice replied. "They never revealed their faces or names. But we fight for them. And we'll die for them!"

"Next question then, how did they find out we were here?"

"Well, us!" Said the blond boy. "Like I said before. They had us sabotage the infinite corporations assets here to attract Alex Coldbourne himself. Then, we would capture him and use him as leverage to shut down infinite corp! We found out you were here as soon as you entered! But we forgot about the twilight princess...."

"Hm, and what does the clan have to gain from shutting down infinite Corp?"

"Alex Coldbourne made him and his company an enemy of our clan on the day he flew his helicopters over the bridge to the docks and captured our people! The clan sees him as a threat, so we aimed to dismantle him." Alex remained silent for a moment, then spoke. "Well. It makes enough sense." He said casually.
