She stepped back and moved her hair out of her face, and tied it back into a ponytail.
"Just worried that she'll cheat, and that my father will lose a friend."

Alex smiled and nodded to Sera. He knew the consequences of what would happen if he were to lose. Then, Anne stepped forward. "Just...watch her, okay? You may be older then she is, but she's likely experienced more then you. She'll be fast. And those knives of her are throwing knives, so she specializes in ranged combat which you are not so good at. And also-" Anne was speaking out of worry, and Alex picked up on it. Without warning, he took a step closer to Anne and kissed her. They both took a moment before releasing one another, and Alex smiled at her. Anne was calmed down, but the worry was still on her face. "Just...be careful. Okay? Otherwise I'll have to save you again." She said as she finally cracked a smile. "Wouldn't have it any other way princess." He said to her as he returned her smile. With that, Alex walked away from the two girls. He twirled his blade as he walked the ten paces. Now, he entered the battleground. But Sera had entered her own... [spoiler]Objective: Find weaknesses on the mistress. Point out cheating or suspicious behaviour around the fight. Optional: Tell it to alex so only he can hear it. [/spoiler]

Sera put away her bow and crossed her arms, watching like a hawk. "I know she's gonna try something...."

The assassin went on her knees and bent her back so that the blade went over her. She was flexible. Then, she quickly lunged at alex with an overextension of her arm. The attack caught him off guard and he barely dodged enough for her blow to cut across his right leg. Anne gasped as he cursed and hopped back towards the girls direction, blood flowing from his leg. That being said, it was not too serious.

"Like father, she's rather quick....What's Alex's fighting style like?"

Alex jumped back into the action with a massive swing of his blade. The blade crashed into the ground as the mistress sidestepped the strike and tried to get another blow on him. But alex quickly brought his blade up and deflected her strike and thrusted towards her, which she just barely dodged. "Aggressive..." Anne answered the girl.

"Speed verses power then....He'd better know how to counter that cause usually speed wins every time."

"He's had his fair share of foes. He should know something by now." She replied to Sera. The mistress quickly took a knife out of her belt and threw it at Alex. The Deity saw this coming however and raised his blade just in time to block. What he didn't account for was that the woman was also an expert in sleight of hand, and it turned out she had a second knife in her hand which she threw at Alex. The knife embedded itself in his arm and blood flowed from the new wound. He didn't bother taking it out, however, as he surprised the mistress and her abundantly cocky nature and slashed at her. She dodged again, but the slash cut through her bows string, which made it fall to the ground uselessly. Sera was able to have a different perspective on the battle. She could point out weaknesses alex maybe wouldn't figure out. How would she relay that info to him though?

"Shit....Anne, even if we do see something off, how are we supposed to tell him?"

"I'm thinking of something." Anne whispered as she brought her hand up to her lips in concentration. The mistress seemed infuriated by the state of her bow, and she drew another knife off her hip as she twirled her short sword. Alex stepped back with a bit of a limp towards the girls as the two started their standoff. [spoiler]You'll have to find a solution.[/spoiler]

"Shit, gotta think of something....." She continued to watch the fight, trying to think of a way.

Alex leapt back again closer as the mistress overextended her arm again to cut at him. He quickly thrusted his blade forward but she twirled around it and kicked the back of his right knee, which made him fall to his knees. He slashed quickly at the mistress again and she leapt back a considerable distance. Alex was closer to the girls now...

She whispered to him, and placed a hand on his shoulder. "She's using her speed to her advantage, mix it up a bit. Go for lighter and more unpredictable attacks. You other leg is injured, attack from your good side then feint into a slash from your bad side."

Alex nodded discreetly as he stood back up. To the mistresses knowledge the girl was just offering Alex luck. The white haired knight walked towards the mistress, and twirled his blade in his right hand. His right leg was the injured one, and it continued to bleed. The mistress ran at Alex, her blade swinging to his right. Alex then pivoted off his left leg around her and slashed. She jumped, but the blade cut across her back and be mistress let out a cry as she fell to the ground before quickly getting back up to her feet, with drops of blood coming off her back. "That's it Alex!" Anne let out.

Sera grinned as the attack landed, and continued to watch the fight. [i]Thats the way![/i]

Alex grinned cockily as he flicked the blood off his blade. He readied to block as the mistress approached slowly... Then, she struck. She swung her blade to the right, and alex raised his to block, but she quickly ducked her blade around and cut across his armoured chest. Alex fell to his knees as he cursed. Even though his armour protected him, he felt the full impact of the blow dealt to him. She swung her blade down at him, but he grabbed her wrist and dropped his own blade to the ground so he could hit her in the belly. This blow sent her back, and gave Alex enough time to grab his blade and recover. The crowd of nightingales seemed uneasy as Sera looked onto them...

She turned her head and glared at the children, then went back to watching the fight.

She soon noticed that alex was pacing around back to Sera and Anne. Was he doing this for a reason? That didn't matter, because the mistress suddenly threw three knives at once at Alex. He blocked one, but the other two impaled his right arm again and another cut across his left arm. He reeled back, one would assume dramatically so. This resulted in him to be even closer to the girls. Anne let out a gasp, but she also nudged Sera.

She leaned down to "check" his leg and whispered to him again. "Now she's using ranged attacks, so you gotta get in close and catch her off guard. Try to knock her off balance, then unleash a fury of quick strikes."

"Got it." He whispered back to her as he pulled both knives from his arm quickly. He didn't throw them to the ground though, but he put them in his belt. He stabbed his blade into the ground, as it seemed him as well as the mistress were recovering, and he threw off his white leather coat, which just left him with his black fur armour, black jeans and bloodied pale arms. He drew his blade out of the ground and walked to the centre of the fight with a limp. The mistress then quickly ran to the centre, and jumped and through a knife at alex. Alex raised his blade and swung it, which knocked the knife back at its wielder who dodged it. As she dodged, Alex lunged forward with a wince and swung his blade at the woman. The mistress couldn't compose her feet in time for the aggressive strike, so in her dodge alex cut across her side and left a deep cut as she cried out and almost fell to the left.

"Attack her with the knives!" She cried out at Alex.

Alex followed through as he grabbed one of the knives from his hip and threw it at his opponent, but she suddenly raised her hand and the knife halted by the catch of her hand. Without recovery she threw the knife at Alex, and it landed directly in his chest. The knife shattered upon contact, but Alex fell to his knees in agony from the blow. The woman was on him as she drew two knives from her hip and attacked alex immediately. Alex raised his blade up to block as the woman unleashed hell upon him. Alex blocked as much as he could, but the woman cut across his arms even more and got a cut across his cheek. In anger, he bashed his blade forward, which hit her in the head and knocked her back. His entire body was now red with blood from her onslaught, and he weakly got up and used his blade as support. Anne put her hands to her mouth from looking at his condition. But....something poked out of one of the windows....

"Oh no you don't!" She quickly drew her bow and loaded an explosive arrow, then fired it at the window.

The front of the building exploded from contact, but the explosion of the arrow wasn't large nor was it incredibly lethal. But it definitely got the armies attention. The children all drew their bows on Sera, and Anne looked to her in shock. That didn't stop the fight however. The mistress seemed enraged, and jumped at Alex as he was distracted by the explosion. She tackled him to the ground, her short sword pointed down at his throats and began to push. Alex grasped her wrists to resist, and tried to push the woman's blade away, but he was weak due to his injuries. "No...no,no no." Anne let out. But as Sera looked at her, she realized the twilight princess was thinking heavily on the situation.

"Sera, if you kill her we all die!" Anne yelled. "Yes! The girl...is right...you stupid urchling!" The mistress cried out as she continued to try and stab Alex. He blade got closer to his throat every second. "If only you had a chip in you. I'd have you dead right now! Soon enough! HYA!" She exclaimed as she continued to push down on the Deity. "Wait, her controls!" Anne let out. "ALEX! HER WRIST!" She called at alex. He turned his head to Anne, confused, then a dawn of realization came over him. He began to push the blade forward down to his chest, so that it wasn't aimed to his throat. Then, he let got of the mistresses wrists. The blade plummeted into his chest as he drew the last knife from his hip and impaled the mistresses left wrist. He gasped in pain, and his body shook from the blow of the sword. But, this strike had the mistress fall off of him in agony. The knife stabbed straight through her wrists, and the blade exited with blood coated on it. "Why...you...insufferable..." She let out. Sparks flew from her wrist, and Sera realized that her controls for the children had been destroyed. Alex lay on the ground in agony, paralyzed in pain. She walked up to him, and drew another knife from her belt. "I'll kill you. With one hand! You idiotic-AH!" The mistress let out a cry as a dark black arrow pierced her side. She fell to her knee, a look of pain, agony and hatred all in on on her old face. She looked to Sera, but saw her arrow was knocked, but that was because the arrow didn't come from the girl. In fact, it came one of the children on top of the roof. Some of the children aimed their bows at the child... But many, in fact the majority aimed their bows at the mistress. Soon, the ones who aimed at the shooter aimed at the mistress as well. "W-what are you doing?!" The elder let out. "You are going to betray me?! After I've raised you?! Clothed you?! Given you your lives?! You wouldn't-" Another arrow pierced her leg. She fell down to her knees in agony. "Ahhh!" She cried. "You stupid. Little. Twats!" "Sera...." Anne said as she tugged at her arm. "Kneel down. Right now." As Sera turned, she saw that the army behind them had all of their bows aimed at the mistress, and the two girls were in their way....
