The Deity saw this coming however and raised his blade just in time to block. What he didn't account for was that the woman was also an expert in sleight of hand, and it turned out she had a second knife in her hand which she threw at Alex. The knife embedded itself in his arm and blood flowed from the new wound. He didn't bother taking it out, however, as he surprised the mistress and her abundantly cocky nature and slashed at her. She dodged again, but the slash cut through her bows string, which made it fall to the ground uselessly. Sera was able to have a different perspective on the battle. She could point out weaknesses alex maybe wouldn't figure out. How would she relay that info to him though?
