Rodeo, what does it do? This perk has been discussed plenty and most people recommend to avoid it but others like it, so in this post I will but this all to rest.
This perk as many have suspected does very little. It won’t change your recoil pattern, the normal amount of recoil or even your center speed.
What it does do is decrease recoil when a weapon is fired from rest by about 15% and reduce visual recoil. The most noticeable change is the visual effect. You know how Hardlight shakes all over and can be very uncomfortable to use, this perk will reduce that. It does seem to do this quite significantly; my guess would be the crosshair is about 50% more stable.
Some places this perk may be good include: firing a slow rate of fire weapon, since you get the bonus stability when settled, though note weapons take a long time to completely settle; or firing a high rate of fire weapon, the reduced visual effect can make tracking your target easier.
Overall I would not recommend this perk as its benefits are simply not substantial or nearly as useful as those offered by counter balance.
What do you think of Rodeo? I personally had thought it would reduce center speed.

A stability perc on a weapon designed to be Combat Ineffective really is simply cosmetic. Since all weapons in Destiny are now Combat Ineffective, ask Gary, really doesn't matter what perc you have, you're going to die anyway. I suggest you shop at Cabalas in Destiny 2: it's your only chance of repelling that guy that leveled your Last City. Cayde 6 smart-arsing holding a handcannon with range less than a kid pissing in a urinal is f'kkng comical: if he can hit anything at all with it...
