Chapter Five
The next morning Ite, Arianna and Isaac, Cannon Lok, Lyndis and Royal were invited to the war table. It was early, six in the morning. Falk met them there, his eyes red with sleep depravity. But he still welcomed them to the table with a smile.
"Good that you all could make it." He said to them. "So...you six are gunna the ones sent out to take down the Coldbournes. It's a massive undertaking, but I believe you can do it. So, let's start with Roy." He said as he turned to him.
"Royal I need you to find Lilly in north peak. You've already been there, so you know the way. Like Zane said, it's very possible that we can recruit her. So keep that in mind when you find her, got it?"
Open to Cthulu, Orn, Cannon, Ite and Royal.
Reply to Falk when he is speaking to your characters. I'll PM you when it's your turn. It's Royals turn to start.
"Oh I'm going in there, with no weapons. No powers. Nothing. I will show her kindness, and she will return it." Royal commented from the corner he stood in, staring at the ground. Royal hadn't been like this many times before. Especially not for someone he wasn't close with. Something seemed off...
-
"Now I wouldn't go that far, Roy..." Falk said. "She's likely to have guards. Guards ordered to keep her there. I'd recommend being ready for a fight."
-
"No. If it's any evidence, she went in there. No one died, no one got hurt. Nothing happened to any of those people in North Peak. I'll go in there, with stealth. But I will not bear any signs of violence."
-
"....Okay, Roy. I see the soundness in that. Just don't get yourself killed, alright?"
-
"No promises. I don't make ones I can't keep." Royal said solemnly, looking up at Falk. "What I can swear Is that Lilly Coldbourne will join our cause. Whether it is through my death, or not." Royal's morbid tone was a concerning one, to say the least
-
Falk nodded to Roy. Despite his grimness, the sensei respected his peer. With that, he turned to Ite. "Ite, you're on Cain. He's in the Tatakoi plains, and he'll make a serious opponent. I think your smarts in researching the dimeritium gas Tywin used on you guys shows that maybe brawn can't win the fight, but intelligence."
for Ite
-
"Tatakoi Plains huh? Not much room for traps or ambushes it seems..." Ite thought for a short while, and formulated an attack plan. "I suppose I'll have to grab a good shovel, because underground sees to be the only option here. You don't happen to know where one could obtain some of that gas would you? I think I have a shovel around here somewhere."
-
"I have no idea where to get the gas, Ite. They've only used it on that occasion. And uh... I don't think Cain is gunna wait for you to dig a trench..."
-
"I may need to work on my sarcasm. But as for that gas, it seems to be made from a decently rare material that's been harvested completely. I think I could search the black market and make arrangements for a purchase."
-
"We'll see what we can do. Best of luck, Ite." Falk said to him. He turned to Arianna and Isaac. "I thought it best to send both of you on this mission. Since it would actually be more suspicious if one of you weren't with the other. You guys are in charge of making your way to the Celtic isle of Ragnarok and attempt to take down Felix. Arianna, you can also confirm if Haakon is still alive or not."
for Orn
-
"Fine by me, I suppose. Anything that I should know specifically about Felix, then? He seems like the most dangerous out of the Coldbournes." Arianna questioned this with quite a serious tone, while Isaac had remained silent. His "betrayal" had gotten him some threats from other members. Irina straight-up complimented him about it, when they last spoke.
-
"You are probably right." Falk said to her. "He's ruthless and calculating. Hell he's probably smarter then his old man. He took the Celtic isles in a single damned night. It was as if he'd been planning it for a hundred years. Otherwise, we have no idea what he's capable of. I would expect magic, though. A whole lot of it." Falk continued to say to her. Though he looked to Isaac. "You okay buddy?" He asked him. Falk was aware of the harsh treatment the boy was getting. He had been talked behind his back for the last month. Falk knew though that he was trying to survive. It was the smart thing to do at the time, even though it was pretty scummy.
-
"What? Yeah, I'm fine. Thought that Arianna could calm them...I tried to get on their side as a double agent, not... It doesn't matter now. Should I get going? I need to talk someone, tell her that I'm leaving." Isaac sighed, his arms crossed. He was referring to...a friend.

Edited by Inflatablepants: 4/18/2017 12:44:18 AM"Ya. You two be careful now though. You'll be venturing into the belly of the beast. There's a car waiting to take you across the gelidius where you two will board a ship to the Celtic isles." He said as he took two, two way ship passes out of his black peacoat and handed it to them.
-
Arianna took both of the tickets, nodding calmly as she looked up at Falk with a saddened smile. She sighed, regaining her composure. "I'll wait in the car. Isaac...well, good luck with Panta." Arianna smiled, turning to walk towards the car as Isaac shrugged. "...Should I get going?"
-
"Well...I think Panta is right over there." Falk said to him as he nodded his head to the corner of the yard.
For Cthulu and Orn. Reply to this one and make your train.
Falk turned his head to Cannon. "Can...good to see that you could make It."
for Can. Reply to this one as well.
-
Isaac's head turned calmly towards where Falk had motioned, a smile upon his face as he muttered quietly: "...Pan?"
-
Edited by Stitch: 4/18/2017 1:29:18 AMPanta was a little distance away with tears in her eyes. She stared at Isaac with an expression of extreme sadness and worry. "Isaac..."
-
Isaac sighed, slowly approaching the girl that stood some distance away from him, before breaking into a fast walk. He e engulfed Panta in a tight hug, sighing as he then broke the hug so he could look into her eyes. "Panta...I'm so sorry. Everything was so fuzzy at the time...what was a month felt like a couple of seconds. I'm sorry that I have to leave so soon... I promise you, I'll come back to you. I promise.."
-
"YOU'RE LEAVING AGAIN?!" Panta grabbed ahold of Isaac's shirt and pulled herself extremely close to him as she cried into his chest. "You can't go! I won't let you!"
-
"P-Pan..." Isaac's voice shook, as he tightly hugged her, knowing that it could've been the last time that they ever spoke. "Everything will be okay, I swear to it. I...I have something for you. Something that means a lot to me, something that I wished to give you whenever something like this would happen.."
-
Edited by Stitch: 4/20/2017 11:03:57 PM"That's what mother said..." Panta continued to tightly hold on to Isaac. "You're not going!"
-
Isaac then clasped Panta's right hand after taking something out of his pocket - it felt warm, and metallic, while a thin chain like a necklace fell out of her hand. She felt Isaac's hand let go, as Panta felt what may have been a pendant in her palm. "...I promise."
-
"You're lying...you can't promise anything. I've heard it all before." Panta opened her palm to look at what she had been given. "What is this?"
-
"Would you like for me to be honest, then? There's a chance that I'll die. There's a chance that Arianna will die, and the only thing that will matter will be you, Asteri, my mother and my own being. And then there's my survival.." Isaac sighed, as Panta looked down at the pendant - it was triangular in shape yet beautiful, crafted from a dull gold. An eye was in the center, a faint light seeming to issue from its core. "An old trinket of...Irina's. She passed it down to me, before sending me off to Yharnam.."
