That's a difficult question to answer. I went to college and lived on campus 8 out of twelve months a year. Then at the end of junior year I stayed down there over the summer and worked so that was 22 months straight on campus minus the extended breaks. Then I moved out for good the following February after I graduated in December. However I was at home from the previous May through that February as my last two semesters of school were at internships. So it could be 18 partially moved out and completely by 22. I've been financially independent since 16. Still paying off college unfortunately.
